“What looks both from the outside and the inside like a standard greasy spoon cafe in fact serves the most fantastic food For breakfast and lunch with a very friendly owner, a dedicated team of staff and is spotlessly clean. My veggie option for £10 had two poached eggs on mashed avocado on sourdough, old style baked beans, a piece of hash brown, mushrooms, halloumi and a good size fresh salad. Unbelievably good. My friend had roast beef and Yorkshire pudding and described it as absolutely perfect With the meat being very tender.”

The screening room was immaculate, stylish, and so comfortable — the perfect setup for watching high-octane action in true luxury. The sound and picture quality were top-notch, and it genuinely felt like we were in the heart of the Grand Prix. A special mention must go to Marisa and Loria, who made our visit truly exceptional. Her warmth, attentiveness, and attention to detail stood out immediately. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It's rare to see such genuine hospitality — she turned a great experience into an unforgettable one. Had a mixture of steak pie, burger and fish and chips. An amazing pub to visit. Shout out to the chefs Dana and Mihai. Food came out pipping hot and fresh. Defo worth a visit if you’re in the area.”

“I had my son's swimming party here and it was fantastic. The staff were so helpful and the pool looked amazing with the sensory lights, swim toys and music. “The Oak is a fantastic Chinese takeaway, I've never been to the restaurant itself but every time I have ordered from them it has been a fast delivery and always a friendly face. The food is exceptional and the portions are quite generous (if you're missing the Hot-Wok that closed on colney hatch lane a few years ago this is a perfect alternative). Overall great food and a lot of different menu options, highly recommend.”

“Was recommended to try this place out by friends and my god was it a good recommendation, traveled 35 minutes and I would’ve done double it was that good! I had the triple burger with extra bacon (cripsy drizzled in maple syrup - WOOW), crazy fries and the bbq chicken wings. The burger patties so soft, the chips perfectly cooked, the chicken marinated so perfect and so succulent!! Everything from the food to the service was absolutely spot on and I can’t wait to come back again, just wish I lived closer so I could order takeaway.”

“I ordered food here from Deliveroo and I just had to give a good review. I got the dimsum platter mixed for one which had a great variety. I got a spicy beef ramen which was flavourful and actually spicy! Also the portion size for that was really good too, enough for two. I also had some sesame balls which was a nice sweet treat in the end that wasn’t too sickly sweet. Really good quality food and will definitely buy from here again !!”

“This store is local to us, very convenient as it is open till late and stocks most essentials plus some really good quality foods. There are always price offers which I like to take advantage of and Co-op source their fish and other products to support sustainability. I am sure they will strive to make further changes to help tackle climate change. Well done staff, keep up the good works!”

“Was looking for a local sushi place that doesn't use mayo in all their sushi and decided to give this place a go after a trip to the cinema. There was plenty of choice and at an affordable price and we opted for the 28 piece maki platter which was more than enough for 2 people and cost £14 The order was made fresh and took 5-10 minutes to prepare. There was a few selection of Japanese grocery goods and snacks and I was happy to see they had sweet soy sauce which I have been unable to find at a good price The sushi was very well made and tasted great There is a minimum spend of £5 to use card”

“We fancied some seafood and headed down to Seawise Street Seafood Bar. We heard lots of good things and were not disappointed. We ordered the squid rings freshly prepared and cooked, and the butterfly King Prawns we asked for the spicy option. I must say they were the tastiest prawns I've ever had. The squid was delicious too. We also brought some cockles which were plump and not at all gritty, dressed crab and some shell on prawns. The crab came with coriander and red onion, which nicely complimented the crab. Very tasty and would highly recommend. Thank you for our tasty dinner.”
