“Wow.... Just 11 minutes from ordering online via their website to receiving a knock on the front door. Genuinely surprised when I heard the knock as the drive takes 2 minutes minimum. Vegan wings were decent as well.”

“A delightful experience. Having previously visited for superb coffee and delicious pastries, I couldn't resist the opportunity to book when offered the opportunity to dine here for a summer special. The menu looked irresistible and did not disappoint! Very high attention to detail and beautiful presentation paved the way for a delicious culinary experience (menu attached). Owned and run by a lovely couple I cannot recommend highly enough this wonderful cafe and occasional restaurant. Every item is simply exquisite and I am so glad I booked. Every course was lovingly and delicately presented with pride in a super chilled and leisurely alfresco restaurant. Simply delightful and highly recommended.”

“This is a family owned Italian restaurant owned by an Italian person, with a great ambience.. The food is amazing, always fresh and cooked well. The service is second to none. They always make you feel special and can't do enough for you. Great selection of hot and cold dishes, as well as fish and meat options. It is a very popular restaurant with the locals and gets really busy, so make sure to book a table.”

“I've been coming to this fish and chip shop for over 10 years, and it's about time I left a review! The quality has been consistently excellent over the years – perfectly crispy batter, fresh fish, and generous portions. The chips are always hot and golden, just the way they should be. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick, even during busy times. It's hands down the best chippy around, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommended!”

“Came for a quick drink, came here a few years ago and really liked it, still a great place. Went on a Sunday lunchtime, not the best time because it was packed. Didn't stay to eat but if you do want to then I recommend booking in advance if they take reservations. We sat outside which was fine since it was a nice day. Friendly, welcoming and helpful service from the gent behind the bar (possibly the manager/owner). Very family orientated feel to the place. Very cosy inside. Good choice of drinks at reasonable prices.”

They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly during such an emotional time. The food was outstanding—beautifully presented, full of flavour, and served in generous portions. There was a fantastic variety, and it was all so well received by our guests—it disappeared in no time! “Father's Day lunch here today. Through no fault of their own they were understaffed but the team did a fantastic job of picking up the slack and looking after their customers. “Wrattens Caffe is a true hidden gem of Chislehurst High Street. In fact, it is so well hidden at the back of a clothing shop (not a bad one either by the way!) that only a few locals are aware of its existence and visit regularly. I've been delighted being one of these few for years, but this morning, enjoying an amazing chicken and bacon melt toastie with some great coffee, I felt rather sad that your typically blunt and tired Costa next door was booming with visitors, while only a few tables were taken at homey and delicious Wrattens. So here you go, time for my best-kept secret to stop being one. Give yourself the most Chislehurst experience one can think of, visit Wrattens Caffe, have a chat with its loveliest staff, have a walk around the shop while you're waiting for your food to materialize on your table. All that knowing that every penny you leave there supports the community and its people, not Coca-Cola Corp. Why, didn't you know Costa belongs to Cokes? Well, now you do, so turn left on that doorstep, choose Wrattens next time you're around!”

Lily and Jo in the office are super responsive and helpful, and despite the huge pressures the childcare sector is under, Busy Bees Chislehurst always goes above and beyond. Suki loves nursery and I have them to thank for turning her into a sociable and happy little girl.”

“Nice store, shame about the break ins definitely could benefit from a security guard. Staff are helpful and friendly two girls in particular Chloe/Carla always happy and making you feel welcome in the store. It is pricey for some bits and bobs but isn’t it everywhere. Update- needs a security guard!”
