Modern decor in Twickenham

“Extremely well-located Lebanese restaurant - at the heart of Twickenham’s high street area. I mostly opt for takeaways. The restaurant is small but cosy. The food is delicious with a large vegetarian selection. Busy at all hours but the staff is mostly friendly! I liked the dishes, the crockery and the place has a buzz during the day, especially on weekends. On a recent dine-in we tried the yoghurt & cucumber starter dish, a couple of vegetarian wraps and a Meze platter for one - which was especially good value for even two people, if accompanied with a selection of 3 or so savouries! Tasty food and at good value. The staff are friendly and cordial, but the service isn’t exemplary - if only because the place is really busy at most times and staff are busier with the preparation. Even so, it’s the kind of local diner you’d find yourself visiting fairly frequently. I recommend it !”

“We have known Amin for the last 10 years. He did our kitchen and bathroom at our first house now he has done another one in our new house. He is very calm and knowledgeable. He always impressed us with design ideas, and always can find solutions with any small challenges. His prices were very competitive without any hidden cost. His products are really good quality. We will keep using him for any home improvements in the future. His fitter works for him also is very good at his job and very efficient, tidy and professional.”

“Lauris was quick to respond to my messages and come round and quote for my new wardrobe. Its the first time I have had a bespoke built in wardrobe and I am so pleased with the results. Edgar came to install and didn't leave until the job was done even though it was late at night. His attention to detail was great and the quality of the wardrobe is clear. “We had a great experience with Feranki team. They deisigned, delivered and installed the kitchen in our new home in Holland Park within our timeframe. “Usually head up to Twickenham on the weekends so surprised I haven’t popped into visit this place already as been looking for a decent breakfast/brunch venue in the area. This place doesn’t disappoint. Full Breakfast and brunch menu and really attentive staff. Ordered the house breakfast with tea - very good portion (the beans surprisingly good) - also do Eggs Florentine and Eggs Bendict but next time will try the Traditional Shakshuka. Only a short walk from Twickenham station, near the William Web Ellis pub.”

“Astrid is very professional and has great knowledge about anything related to design and house works, without her knowledge I could not have done all these works myself. It was a collaborative process where we could both share our ideas and decide together what will look best. I loved the 3D render design that Astrid did, especially for my living room, as it helped to visualise the results. Astrid knows some great furniture companies and builders so you don't need to worry about anything. It was a pleasure to work with her, as she also has a great energy and personality. Recommended!”

“Sheesh mahal We always look for a bring your own drink restaurant as they usually have the best food! This restaurant did not disappoint! We had the most amazing welcome. Were given a lovely booth for 2! We started with Poppadums and dips. Delicious! One was unique made from coconut!! With our main we chose the house special lamb chops, chicken madras, pilau rice and peshwari naan! The lamb chops were seconds to none! Unbelievable! When visiting new places we love to go to an Indian and this was in our top 10. The food was first class.”

“Callaghan fitted our kitchen over 14 years ago and the design, workmanship and quality was excellent. We are just having to replace the American fridge freezer but sizes have changed in time and nothing would fit under the cupboard built above the existing one. I contacted them to see if the cupboard could be altered and they came round and did it with no charge. I couldn’t have asked for better service.”

The hotel has nice enough rooms for what you would expect at the price point including a fridge, cooking facilities, and a smart tv hooked up ready to go. The area is nice and the people seem friendly and helpful. There are lots of nice shops as well as the regulars aka Mac Donald’s costa etc.”

My purchase only took three days as they stated it would to arrive and although it was large but very delicate it arrived extremely well packaged and in perfect condition. The delivery person made me open it in front of him as the owner of the shop was concerned that it arrived safely.
