“Decent off licence, they don't change their price each day or give you problems if you want to use card. One of the few in the area like this. What's your opening hours by the way, Google says 8am-10pm but sometimes it's open later than 10 other days closed, so wanted to check”

“I am so pleased that my daughter attends Tarbiyyah primary school. She is in reception class and has already come a long way. When she started she didn't know phonics and within 4 months, she has learnt to read and write. I'm ever so pleased how much she has matured. The staff are friendly and pleasant. My daughter loves the fact there is no time out used for behaviour management and the staff don't yell at the children but work with them in a gentle manner and being good role models for them. Children are given so many opportunities at such young age to have awareness of the world around them and the staff are so well skilled. I also like the fact children are taught manners, Arabic and Islam but ofcourse everything is tailored to their level of understanding. The school also holds workshops with parents and equips us with the right knowledge and skills to support our children with their learning at home. The team are approachable and supprotive. At work I come across many children from local schools and I have met many children in year 2+ who are not even at the level of the reception children at Tarbiyyah academically and with their mannerisms. I would definitely recommend this school to any parent who would like their children to grow up with excellent life skills, the Arabic language, be nurtured in a positive environment, well mannered, know the correct Islam, the right skills to fit in this society and be academically astute.”

Special offer price that appears online and says "Nectar price" don't apply in the small/local store even if you have Nectar card, the item will still be on special offer but a little bit more expensive than the price you'd pay at the big store/supermarket. On a cake I paid 25p more”

The store has always sufficient stock of daily essentials like milk, bread, eggs, cleaning products, toiletries, etc. It is one stop shop for everything. But what really sets this place apart is the exceptional person working there. Sanjay, the friendly face behind the counter, is an absolute gem of a person. He is not just good; he is generous and incredibly knowledgeable. He is an honest gentleman who knows his stuff.
