“Air con broke down on way to Devon during heat wave. Local shop told me there was a leak in the system and couldn't be fixed in time for my departure. We have toddler and no air con in this heat was inconceivable. Called Caroline at Paynes Cars on our way home and from the first word she was absolutely awesome, helpful and knowledgeable. She squeezed me in for an assessment on the same day and everything was sorted in a giffy. There was no leak and the car is blissfully cool again. Can't thank the team at Paynes Cars enough. “Mark is a pleasure to deal with. He has a wealth of experience with exotic and luxury cars. You'll always see some interesting marque of car in his (spotlessly clean) workshop. He recently swapped out the front bushes on my XFR and changed the brake fluid. Prior to that a full service including drive and supercharger pulley belts. He came recommended to me from two different car enthusiast forums. Mark certainly isn't the cheapest, but he is very diligent and thorough and always insists on using genuine OEM parts. Mark spent plenty of time with me before and after explaining things and showing me the condition of old parts that had come off the car (e.g. The bushes and the old belt). Highly recommend.”
