“I spent 2 weeks at the priory on the general ward. My whole experience was great and I cannot thank everyone who works there enough for helping me feel better. Rooms: the rooms are lovely and spacious, I had a gorgeous view of the grounds. Rooms are cleaned everyday with fresh towels and bedding once a week. Meals: all food is tasty with loads of different options at breakfast lunch & dinner Staff: from my very first conversation with Lillian in the admissions team to every staff member on the ward - everyone I encountered at the priory was friendly, helpful and most of all incredibly caring. The staff work very hard and long hours so I am very grateful for their help. Special thanks to Lenny for helping with my additional requests :) Therapy classes: the sessions were the best part of my stay. The therapy team must work very hard to make each session different and informative. When I arrived, I was assessed by the therapy team who then gave me a timetable of classes most suitable to the problems I was dealing with - the personal touches on this programme really helped me. Doctors: I already had contact with my consultant before I was inpatient but I was greeted by another doctor when I arrived - I felt incredibly safe and looked after every time I spoke to doctors on the ward. We had a very clear goal we'd set together and I also felt very comfortable with my discharge when I left. I am so glad I chose to come to the north London priory, after years trying to deal with this through the NHS, I am so grateful I had the opportunity to be inpatient at the priory as it truly changed my life!!”

“I got my wedding dress from Bidaai last year and I was so, so please with the outcome! The studio had all their dresses displayed on mannequins which was so useful as I could see what the dresses looked like worn. When I saw my dress I knew it was the one but I had to make a lot of changes to make it perfect.. this completely changed the whole outfit so there was quite a lot, but the sister at the studio looked after me so well and made sure no decisions were made until I was completely satisfied. She kept me updated with pictures and videos while the dress was being made from start to finish which I know was a lot of effort from her end. I knew this is was a bit risk but I can honestly say I had the perfect wedding dress that was personalised exactly to how I wanted it! It’s been 4 months now and I still look back to my pictures and admire the lehenga and the efforts that went behind it. Thank you so much to the ladies at Bidaai, you were amazing!”
