“The staff were very lovely, they worked with a smile on their face which was refreshing. The room was clean, bedding towels, bathroom etc. The heater was easy to work and warmed up the room relatively quickly. The only thing missing was a hairdryer which was disappointing.”

“Nice, big and smart Next store located on the Purley way. As the store is of good size. Has sofa, lighting, tables, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom departments. The store is very well stocked and tidy. Also very useful as Click and collect Online shopping can be collected from here using the touch screen monitor. Plenty of parking available. Recommend to go after 7pm weekday as traffic in Purley is a nightmare.”

“Reception staff are extremely efficient and friendly nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is very clean , basic ,but a good price for the quality and there is ample parking. The entrance from parking is shared with flats and its appearance is a bit grubby, but don’t be put off. Thank you”

“I'm also a resident here, and I feel it's necessary to address the complaints about summer odors from the bin area. While indeed smells were present in the intense heat, the reviews criticizing the concierges failed to mention one crucial fact: the staff keeps that entire basement area absolutely spotless, cleaning and washing every single inch daily. Their effort is tireless. The reality I witness firsthand is that the odor is caused by tenant negligence. Despite having dozens of free brown composting bins available and a large closed bin downstairs for food waste, some residents repeatedly bag up rotting food waste and dump it into the open recycling bins instead. It's fundamentally unfair to blame the concierges for a problem that is 100% dependent on tenants following the very clear and clean waste disposal system provided.”

The staff were professional, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the whole experience stress-free. A big thank you to Zara Malik, who managed our event. She wasvery organized, proactive, and constantly checking in to make sure everything went smoothly. She also helped us with the leftover food, which we appreciated. It’s clear she cares about her clients. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out. Highly recommend Grand Sapphire for any event.”
