“Superb first class service from Jason the manager at furniture village, Orpington store. Right from discussing what we would like and ideas to his effort and friendliness was above and beyond. We spent a considerable amount of money from a new sofa to dining table to new bed and Jason was there every step of the way, helping and guiding. Couldn’t praise this person enough!”

“We were researching a riser recliner chair at at Orpington where we met Jon who could not have been more helpful. HSL are made in Yorkshire and come in various sizes from petite to Super Grandee. Most of the chairs will lift up to 25 stones and come in an amazing amount of fabrics including leather. The leather option although lovely costs almost 1/3 more. Jon explained the "fitting" aspect which is very sensible checking on hip width, leg length, height from the floor and 4 other aspects. We were shown probably 100's of fabric, we were offered samples and those they didn't have were posted to us very quickly. We have decided not to buy at the moment but if in the future I would not hesitate to return. The shop is very well appointed and I think there were 3 other lady staff members who were also very helpful. The shop also sells non electric chairs and 3 piece suites which looked very good but we didn't try any as that was not what we wanted. There is a VERY small car park at the rear probably only 3 spaces so if able to walk I would suggest parking elsewhere to save a tight 3+ turn to exit.”

“Our family had the pleasure of recent sofa purchase taken care by Nicole Lippi one of the customer advisor - She was super attentive with great customer service skills and had plenty of suggestions in various sofa variation and advised on design and specifications as we visited the store twice. I'd recommend Nicole to any ongoing customers visiting the store. She's definitely one for the best advisors we've experienced and made our purchase seamless. After care was great too, Nicole followed up with queries related to invoicing and had even called to update on resolution. We will surely visit Sofology Orpington again for any furniture purchases. “What an absolutely incredible experience I had finding this random gem in Orpington when out with my mum on May 3rd bank holiday. This was before restrictions were lifted so we were seated outside but given blankets to wrap up in, and had the most amazing service from our waitress Karina! She was so attentive and just a star!! It was soooo windy but that didn’t dampen our experience whatsoever. We each had a managal combo plate (spicy chicken and lamb chops which were humongous) with bulgur wheat, spicy rice, and 2 types of salad. The home made bread was lush. Cooked to perfection and even given mint tea and baklava on the house after! Couldn’t recommend this place more and thank you Ozzy for stopping to chat with us after! And Karina for being such a genuine sweetheart when catering to us. Can’t wait to come back for my mums birthday, delicious food, fantastic prices, and fabulous staff!”

“Wow! Amazed today coming into the five bells It’s been taken over by new owners and they are absolutely lovely! Me and my partner got the bells beef burger each with bacon and cheese bacon was perfectly crispy burger was lovely! Was sooo nice. And we got onion rings too honestly amazing food and such a lovely family pub. Have play slides for the kids a huge garden nicely decorated. Such a warm feeling when walking in we have now booked in for a Sunday roast. And can’t wait to try it, also the house wine is divine and got price! This will now be our ongoing local. X”

“Wanted a Sunday curry, and went to Little India and came out very very happy. The staff were exceptional and extremely friendly, and best of all the curries (lamb, chicken, prawn and daal is what we got) were flawless. Could not fault the restaurant if I tried, and will defiantly be back.”

“Managed to get a last minute booking for Sunday lunch and how happy I was that we did. From the minute we arrived and were welcomed, by Joel our waiter, the experience just got better and better. Joel was lovely and so good with the children as well. Advised us on food options and very courteous and friendly. And the roast dinner was just amazing, I had lamb rump, 2 of us had the trio of roast and 1 had the pie of the day. Food was absolutely great, best roast dinner I have had for years. Will be back.”

“I recently had a fantastic experience at Wimpy! The burger was delicious, with just the right size and price for me. It wasn't overly sweet or heavy, and I could tell it was cooked with care. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided great table service. The ambience is pleasant for dining in, and I appreciated that it was less crowded than other places nearby. The cleanliness was also a noticeable plus compared to other fast food outlets in the area. I would definitely recommend Wimpy and will be back for sure. I'm not sure why it hasn't been my first choice before, but it certainly will be from now on!”

If you're searching for the most authentic, flavour-packed Indian meal, look no further! This was, without a doubt, the most flavoursome Indian food I’ve ever had. The Lamb Tikka Phall was fiery and rich, bursting with bold spices yet beautifully balanced. The Chicken Chat Puri Starter (extra hot!) delivered a delightful kick with succulent, well-seasoned chicken wrapped in soft, warm puri—perfection! The Keema Rice was another knockout, infused with deliciously spiced minced meat and the perfect amount of heat. Every dish was cooked to absolute perfection, the sauce was thick and indulgent, the meat was tender and full of flavour, and everything arrived hot and steaming, just as it should. Timing was spot on, proving that they care about both quality and service. Of course, the papadam added that satisfying crunch to round off an unforgettable meal.
