“Coffee-first cafe - it’s my go-to if I’m getting a takeaway coffee in Crouch End. Delicious and exceptionally made. Expensive, but get what you pay for etc. Friendly staff. Decent selection of food if you’re so inclined.”

“I always come here for a coffee when in London. They have their own excellent brand of coffee which I've occasionally taken a bag back to Australia to enjoy at home. They also have a good selection of cafe style dishes to enjoy for lunch.”

“I stop by about once or twice a month as a little treat, either on my way to work or over the weekend, and every time I’m welcomed as if I were a daily customer. The team is always incredibly friendly, greeting customers warmly, chatting with them, saying hello to their dogs, or even complimenting their outfits. The service is consistently quick, even during the busiest times, and the coffee and pastries are always spot on. The atmosphere is wonderful too, great vibes all around. Highly recommend - makes a lovely start to the day x”

“I've been ordering their drinks & desserts for months now. Here's a review of some of my faves: 1. Strawberry tea + lychee jelly + passion fruit popping boba - this is amazing. OmG the first time I had this I told my friend that it was the best cold drink I've ever tasted. No other drink has changed my mind. Just try it! 2. The Valentine's crepe - who thought of putting the rose petals on that beauty? That's amazing man, it smelled and tasted so good. Something about that white choc + strawberry combination is just delicious. I recommend you order it or if you're looking at this review after Valentine's- order their strawberry crepe. 3. Ferrero roche waffle - just look at the pic. My husband's reaction to this was 'it tastes like a giant ferrero'. Smelled amazing too! 4. Karak chai - love it! Got me through the winter months. Guys thank you so much for this consistent high quality. I'm so glad you guys are nearby but you also have that cheeky uber option for when I'm feeling lazy. :))”

They have lots of varieties of gluten free products, different protein intake products, fresh vegetables, they have best selection of kombucha at affordable prices. “Myself and my sister visited Matt Cup Roastery on our recent trip to London. We were drawn to the aesthetics immediately. The whole place had a lovely laid back feed. The staff were super friendly and the coffee was delicious - they even roast their own coffee beans. We also loved the coffee cups and saucers and the coffee art was a lovely touch too. There are bookshelves beside comfortable sofas - along with a selection of items to purchase. We could have easily sat there all sampling their coffee and soaking in the surroundings. We can’t wait to come back again the next time we are visiting.”

“I’ve visited a few times in the last month, predominantly to grab coffee and work. The staff are always very friendly and last time I visited with my partner, we were given a free pot of Persian tea, which was delicious. The coffee (particularly cappuccino) is excellent, as are the smoothies. The food is very good on the whole, though I would personally prefer the bacon fried or grilled. Would highly recommend popping by for a coffee and breakfast/brunch.”

“We live nearby and visit this cafe frequently. Always very polite and friendly staff to all (not sure what you need to do to make them angry as one person said in his review). I love their croque monsure (please forgive my French) with goat cheese, cakes, coffee is also lovely. Clean and tidy, they do alterations to accomodate my baby food requirements ehich is very important for me. Thank you))”
