“A true gem tucked down the road and around the corner from Battersea Station We had an excellent dinner which included a very tender steak topped with a fried egg , side of fries and a salad followed by a large egg slice of Pudim (flan) Wow it doesn’t get better than this and all at a very reasonable price We felt right at home !”

“Fantastic authentic Italian food. The antipasti (served from their own deli counter) were sensational. Delicious fresh pasta, top quality ingredients (wild boar ragu, fresh meaty porcini mushrooms). Great desserts. Prices very reasonable. Service brisk and friendly. Loved it!”

“Met a friend for breakfast this morning. We split the avocado toast w/ 2 poached eggs, an almond croissant, and each had a cordato. The almond croissant was one of the best I’ve had. Light, fluffy, and almonds toasted perfectly. The filling was not gross and sugary like it often is, it had a subtle sweetness and was light and natural. The avocado toast was amazing. Please read again: THE AVOCADO TOAST WAS AMAZING. Toasted sesame seeds cooked to perfection, on a base of fresh sourdough, topped with two perfectly cooked poached eggs. The combination of flavors created a symphony for the palate. Oh wait! I forgot to mention the amazing side of red pepper paste. The smallest amount added another dimension to the meal. Service was excellent. Although it was one young girl, she had everything under control. The bathroom was extremely clean and smelled fresh. Saucer & Cup, keep up the good work. “We had an amazing brunch at Grind! A big thank you to the wonderful team who took such great care of us and a special shout-out to Chef Antonakis Spiros and the bartender Stefano. We tried the Buttermilk Burger, Courgette & Sweet Corn Fritters, and for dessert, the marvelous pancakes , everything was spot on and delicious! The buttermilk chicken burger, pancakes, and cappuccino were definitely the highlights. We also saw Stefano crafting some incredible cocktails , they all looked amazing, and next time we’re 100% coming back for them!”

“I went to Yvonne Arnaud Theatre to see the show Murder At Midnight starring Max Bowden from EastEnders and I had a wonderful time, it was an incredible experience to see Max and the rest of the cast perform live as it has always been my dream to see Max perform as I have been a fan of his for many years now so it was a special experience for me. We had front row seats which made the experience even more special too. Yvonne Arnaud is a wonderful little venue with great seating for shows and the cafe is lovely too, with delicious food and drinks and beautiful views across the river. The staff are really friendly and helpful too. Thank you Yvonne Arnaud for a wonderful show and for making my dreams come true with watching Max Bowden perform live, I send my gratitude to Max and the rest of the cast of Murder At Midnight for a fantastic show that I will remember forever!”

“I had to kill some time waiting for my car. I was hungry and wanted something filling but not too heavy. Chose this cafe, I was impressed with the menu selections. They have the early bird full English breakfast options, I went with the cheese omelette which you can choose to have with a jacket potatoe, chips or salad. I chose the salad and pineapple suprise smoothie. I was very impressed with the food and the service was great as well. Really enjoyed this and will come back again.”
