As someone who’s extremely picky with drinks, I have to say the Virgin Strawberry Mojito was one of the best mocktails I’ve ever had — refreshing, not too sweet, and bursting with flavour. For mains, we had Mutton Biryani, Nihari Gosht, and Plain Naan. Everything was beautifully presented and packed with rich, aromatic spices. The biryani was especially comforting — warm, fragrant, and generously portioned. We ended on a high with the Mud Cake dessert (served with ice cream), and honestly, it tasted as good as it looked — soft, gooey centre, with a perfect balance of sweetness. From the gorgeous plating to the memorable flavour and excellent service, Shere Khan is a hidden gem in Enfield. Can’t wait to return!”

The crust, a golden tapestry of crispness and chew, served as the perfect canvas for a lavish medley of smoky tandoori spices, succulent chicken, and molten cheese of such ethereal texture it could only be described as mesmerizing. “I recently visited Appetiser Indian Restaurant, and while there were a few bumps during my visit, I can see the potential this place has with a bit of fine tuning. The biggest challenge was the service time it was quite delayed. It seemed like the team was a bit short-staffed that day, which affected how quickly orders were prepared and served, even though the restaurant wasn’t too busy. That said, I truly appreciated the effort of the lady at the counter. She was clearly managing a lot on her own and still handled everything with a calm and helpful attitude. Kudos to her dedication! Now, coming to the food the star of the meal was definitely the pizza. It was flavorful, fresh, and really stood out in terms of quality. If you’re a pizza lover, it’s worth trying! However, the rest of the dishes didn’t quite meet the mark this time. Some items felt a bit bland and lacked the freshness you’d expect from an Indian dining experience. Despite these hiccups, I believe Appetiser Indian Restaurant has the potential to be a great local spot. With a bit more staffing and attention to consistency in food quality, it could easily become a go to hangout. I’ll definitely consider giving it another try in the future especially for the pizza and I hope to see a more streamlined experience next time!”

“Amazing! I came for a butter chicken, but the owner offered me a free taster of Biryani. It wasn't just a couple of spoon-fulls, but in fact he gave me almost half a portion of Chicken Biryani for free. I tried it and boy was it good! £2.50 for a Chicken Biryani in an area with easy parking, no traffic, no queues, a food rating of 4/5, and frankly I feel it tastes better than the other places that offer it at this price. Needless to say that I think I'll be a very regular customer here. Already had the Biryani twice this week. A couple of minor improvements: For the Butter Chicken I can suggest: Please look into a more sealed container for foods with gravy. Mine leaked a little. Also 2 Naans is a bit overkill for the amount of butter chicken you give. It's nowhere near enough curry for 2, so 1 is sufficient in my opinion. But overall, I'll be returning regularly for the biryani.”
