“It was my birthday meal and everything was perfect. The pork belly bites are like candy that is sticky and melts in your mouth at the same time. My friend has mushrooms on toast to start and they were yummy with the combo of shrooms and that sauce. We then both had burgers - she beef and me chicken and they were excellent. They were very accommodating she didn’t want the bacon on hers but I did. The fries were so good and stayed hot for a long time. I also had an Islay old-fashioned - heavenly. We didn’t have room for dessert but they brought us out a couple of brownie bites and the were divine. I would definitely eat here again.”

“Our favorite restaurants in Orpington and we go there often. The lobster dish is absolutely delicious and perfect for two people to share. The best we had for a lobster dish. Lots of good seafood dishes that you won’t find in other restaurants around here. The salads is delicious that even I who isn’t a big fan of salad like it. Their children menu is also good. We particularly like the nutritious and healthy fish and veggies dish for our son. He cleared the whole plate. Very friendly staff and chefs. The price is very good too for what you get. Highly recommend it.”

“I have had many bred shed burgers and breakfast muffins in my time. What can I say, always banging food. I always visit when I'm in the area. Chicken burgers are definitely my favourite. Onion jam with sausage muffin is all must. Yes, a little pricey but quality for sure. Thanks Ben”

“Dropped by with my kids for lunch and it was a great experience. The service was brilliant and the owner is friendly and welcoming. The food was good. I had the lamb chops and got the chicken nuggets for the kids. Their prices are well suited and the atmosphere is relaxed. Will definitely be back.”

“Went here on the off chance for breakfast. Ordered scrambled eggs on toast and hot chocolate. The eggs were done to my liking and the hot chocolate was really nice, not too sweet. The waitress was very polite and cheerful. Would go here again.”

“Excellent espresso, pastries, hot chocolate, location, and ambiance. This coffee shop is indeed a great place to kill your time, do business, and to study as well. “Our last walk of the year on the 30th Dec 2023, resulted in us having a small refreshment stop here. We were warmly welcomed, upon entering this gem of a traditional pub. The menu looked to be a great choice of the usual pub food. I'll note here that there's a large selection of pies. Which included their Festive December Pie. We weren't hungry on this occasion so chose their basket food, which was reasonably priced and arrived quickly. The rest room facilities were clean and tidy, and I'll note the men's was larger than most for this area. A queue for these would be a rare thing I'd say. In summary a cosy atmosphere, and warm unlike many pubs I've visited recently. I am looking forward to another walk in this area, so I can try out the pies of The George and Dragon.”

There is a large selection of breakfasts available, they have a nice small terrace outside. You can park in front and pay. It’s a nice local cafe to visit and enjoy food and drinks. I recommend”
