“Causal sushi and authentic Taiwanese bubble tea were an interesting combination. A good chef's selection of sashimi, nigiri and sushi roll platter. Bubble tea was always a fun addition to a meal. Restaurant could be very smelly, though. The extraction over the kitchen and overall ventilation was very weak and could soak you in curry katsu smell even you were eating sushi. But considering the fair price point, still a solid 5-star review with some qualifications.”

The food was fresh, flavourful and beautifully presented. The Burrata Chaat was a delightful surprise, loved equally by the kids and adults. Choosing a favourite between the lamb chops and the jumbo prawns was no easy task but if I had to pick, the lamb chops edged ahead with impeccable flavour, perfect texture and presentation. I would highly recommend Shuili for anyone looking for a memorable meal!”

Since booking, I have had to go on a strict diet for medical reasons. I contacted Hayward’s and they went above and beyond what I had expected by creating a fully bespoke menu for myself, meaning I didn’t miss out on anything and you would never have known the food had been adapted. My husbands food was incredible as well. “I am here from Germany for work and I thought I would try a doner. They have either chicken or beef or you can do a mix but I chose the chicken. The flavor was really good. I think you get more meat than you do on the diners in Germany. In Germany it is a little more veggies than meat. The place was very clean although I did take away. I got a meal as it was cheaper than getting a doner and drink. The other difference I notice was the bread. This bread is not as dense and the sauce and juices made the bread fall apart. But other than that, it was really good and would go back again the next time I am in the area. Can recommend.”
