“Came for the fish and chips and was not disappointed. Probably the best fish and chips in T5, even as early as 8.00am in the morning. The market place payment concept also works great as you can linger a long time while adding to your order. Works for a long transit wait. Better than the commercial lounge.”

“Me and my partner came in today and it was one of the best curries we've ever ate, we got a large butter chicken with large chicken fried rice and it was more then enough to feed us. Affordable, friendly, can't recommend higher.”

“Recently stayed in Hounslow for 3 nights, was really impressed with the local Spoons. Had an evening meal and a couple pints when we arrived, and I had a breakfast on 2 of the mornings. Was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly. Nice. If ever in the area again would most definitely visit. Enjoy.”

“All the way from South Africa & just looking for some good food & drink before a long trip back home, I stumbled across Big Smoke Taphouse at London Heathrow Terminal 2 & had the absolute privilege of meeting Savio, the server who knew very well I struggling with the QR Code version menu & was eager to assist me & simplify my order & dining experience. Savio was extremely friendly, helpful & patient as we took our time to go through the hard copy menus & eventually opted for Tex Mex Tacos, Pork Burnt Ends, Some Onion Rings & 2 glasses of wine. I was pleasantly surprised with the bursting flavors of the all the food, especially the smokiness of the pork burnt ends & most especially encountering very bland food in England overall, LOL. “Only surviving cafe in this area to get a proper English breakfast. Food is good, and I love the atmosphere. Feels like you're in an Eastend soap. Ok, the old lady waitress is bit grumpy sometimes, but I didn't mind her. Took as part of the atmosphere, and respect the fact that they're keeping her for the job. For the negative comment I saw above, 'Not really English, is it.' This is a multicultural town, and I admire them for embracing the local culture and running it while everything local are disappearing. If you're a tourist in a neighbouring hotel, and looking heavy English breakfast I would definitely recommend it. The below meal with the tea costed me £5.60, and I wouldn't be needing food least for another 8 hours.”

“Discover this spot with a real deshi vibe, where most of the customers seem to be local taxi drivers. It’s run by friendly deshi aunties who give the place its authentic charm. The décor isn’t fancy, but maybe that’s part of the charm—it adds to the homely feel! The food is fresh—we had freshly made paratha with omelet, daal, and chai. Absolutely fabulous!”

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff joycelyn and shilpi made me feel right at home with their friendly service. The food was delicious—I tried the classic chicken paratha roll and the LPC omelette, both of which were excellent. The highlight for me was the *kadak chai*. It had the perfect blend with the milk—honestly one of the best chais I’ve ever tasted! Definitely a must-try spot. Highly recommended! ☕✨”

Our server, Gopal, was incredibly patient and attentive, ensuring that we had a wonderful dining experience. We tried a variety of dishes, including tea, coffee, rose milk, dosa, rava dosa, idli, vada, poori, chapati, parota, bagara rice, mutton sukka, curd rice, chicken curry, lemon rice, and fried rice. The restaurant is vibrant and gives an impression of quality food and ingredients. It also possibly serves the best flat white in and around the airport.”
