“Tokoton is my and my wives favourite restaurant. We have been over a dozen times now and its consistent quality, quick table service and amazing staff make bringing friends a must. The chill atmosphere and cozy authentic style and food constantly bring us back. We come here on days out to london and are often more excited for Tokoton than our event.”

“I had an amazing experience here! The ramen and gyoza were very tasty, and the remuneration drink was a unique touch. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive—Haru noticed I was struggling to open my drink bottle and kindly opened it for me. When some soup spilled on my chin, Haru even had tissues ready before I asked. The variety of options on the menu is great, and the flavors are so unique. While it’s not a big space since it’s inside Tooting Market, the vibe and environment are really nice. Excellent food and outstanding service—I highly recommend this place!”

“I love this ramen spot. The tonkotsu broth is super rich and well seasoned. I like the addition of their own chilli oil to the broth, which spices up its flavours. Gyozas were also perfectly grilled. I’m completely addicted and keep coming back. Love it”

“Was recommended this restaurant by a friend who said it was really good ramen, so came for a visit to try it. Located a bit far from the centre of London but it's really worth taking the time to visit. Nice smart place, not huge. Nice chilled vibe to the place. Great choice of food on the menu at reasonable prices. Friendly, helpful and welcoming service. The ramen tasted gorgeous, the creamy ramen is one of the best I've tried (and I've had many,both in the UK and Japan).I was a bit disappointed by the fact that they don't have any chilled sake apart from the unfiltered one, hopefully this is something they can address (even if it's just one?). Overall it's definitely worth a visit if you like ramen.”

“What a treat! I’m glad to have found a restaurant where I leave full and not robbed of cash. The food was so tasty and fresh. I loved the atmosphere, it was relaxed. As somebody who gets easily overwhelmed, it was the right amount of intimate, casual, and excellent. I love a place where you can be yourself and still receive incredible dishes. Our server, Khusbu, was very friendly, attentive, and fast! As a hospitality worker myself, I appreciate all of these things even more!”

“During our stay in London (July 2025), we ate twice at the Japanese restaurant Mikawa in Shepherd’s Bush. Everything was excellent. You can even order dishes that aren’t on the menu. I asked for udon with beef, vegetables, and extra garlic — and that’s exactly what I got. Absolutely delicious!”

“Went to Shoryu Kensington with friends, been to other Shoryu locations as well. I always love their Ramen and Katsu curry. I tried the Sake flight which was amazing and the service was lovely and staff members were very friendly and welcoming. They welcome customers with a traditional drum bang. Overall a good experience and will sure come back!”

“Lovely little Ramen place. About 10 minutes walk from Camden Town station. Everything Halal. Small and cosy, restaurant is very clean, warm and friendly service from the staff. Was recommended this by a friend and we were not disappointed. Food was yummy and mouthwatering. We tried a variety of different dishes, each one was equally nice. The prices are a little expensive, but what you do get is very authentic good that's extremely tasty, with equally good service. I would definitely recommend.”

“Honestly this is the best ramen place I’ve ever been too. The staff extremely friendly amazing atmosphere and just overall an amazing experience. Food wise it matches the review it’s absolutely amazing and high quality food , so good I had to order a second bowl. That doesn’t mean their portions are small either they’re large and so yummy I’m just a big back.”

“So sick! Great atmosphere, excellent service, and quality food. Loved that it's a small menu, shared some plates (which were a nice, manageable size) and then a main noodle dish was epic, like a dry Ramen bowl, perfect for summer and the hash brown (trust me) was lush. The home brew lager was also delicious. So good all round, can't fault it, decent value and no complaints. Lots of veggie and vegan choices too!”

“Presentation: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Taste: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don't want to raise anyone's expectations of this place, but in my personal opinion, this is the closest to authentic Japanese cuisine that I've ever had, especially when there's plenty of Japanese restaurants around the area. Their plating was really well done, just like fine dining. The taste of the food was just as good as the presentation, and the amount of care put into making it can be felt through tasting the dishes, especially the wagyu beef roll which just melts in your mouth. Experience was better than I expected as the server we had, which looked like the manager was really good at doing her job, and the way she interacted with us was like she was a friend, which shows how experienced she was at dealing with customers. Overall, my friends and I enjoyed it and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a new place to eat Japanese food with a fair price around London, Soho.”

“2020 hasn't been a great year for restaurants (ain't that an understatement) but if you want an outstanding sushi experience at home then you really must try Komakai. You won't find better sushi in London. Seriously. Great quality ingredients and clearly a talented chef. If you're missing those nights out in London then definitely give Komakai a go. Can't recommend highly enough. 5 stars”

“I like it. The sushi was not cheap as what I expected but it was delicious. The bubble tea also wasn’t too sweet even at 100%. So overall, for Chiswick “fast food” sushi, this would be where I’d go next time.”

“An intimate dining experience with just ten people per sitting, where you see the husband and wife chef prepare everything in front of you. The food was vast with many course, with everything being outstanding in terms of taste and quality. My personal highlights were the scallop and the duck soup. We opted for the wine pairing too, but if I were to go again I would not opt for that a second time round. A perfect location for an impressive date night and a must-go for any foodie looking for a new up and coming restaurant.”
