You can order wine by the glass from a selection of twelve different wines which change every week.A must visit in Putney.”

“Incredibly knowledgeable staff who are always happy to help me with my shopping, or just let me browse if I tell them I don't need help. They also offer to keep a record of what I've bought and enjoyed so they can make recommendations. Prices are quite good for nicer wines. I love having this place in the neighborhood.”

It wasn't a huge order but the gentleman (I don't have his name) gave me the 5* treatment, helping me choose the best wines for the day, giving me a tasting, and then sorting out my order. He then delivered my order and despite an issue at the venue with collection he persisted and got everything in the fridge as well as delivering glasses for hire. I've never been to majestic before but they have a new valued customer at the Twickenham branch. They are all friendly and fabulous to deal with.”

“I bought a bottle of wine from here for a Christmas gift, and when coming to open- my guests found the cork completely holed and crumbled and the wine was spoilt. I contacted the store- because we are regular customers and therefore were shocked at this and they were extremely understanding. They took time to quickly and thoroughly respond to me and come to rectify the situation immediately. All wines (50+!) we have bought have been fantastic, this was the only odd one of the bunch and the store were extremely helpful. The staff are also knowledgable and helpful when deciding on a purchase in store. Highly recommend.”

“We found this hidden gem by accident, were passing by, mistook it for a small local shop, and popped in for a bottle of milk. Half an hour after wandering around this amazing tardis of a shop, in complete awe of the size of the shop and selection of produce, we came out with three bottles of wine and almost a week's worth of shopping! I am a retired convenience store owner myself and, after 40 years in the sector, can safely say, this is the best convenience store you will likely find anywhere in the UK. “Majestic helped us supply and deliver drinks for our wedding at Hampton Court House in April. Tim was amazing and helped us get the best deals with buying before the wedding when there were different promotions. He amalgamated all the different transactions for the delivery on the day. We also returned quite a few unopened bottles to him after our wedding from our bar which he kindly went through and refunded us for. An absolute no-brainer if you need to buy alcohol or drinks for your next event!”
