“What looks both from the outside and the inside like a standard greasy spoon cafe in fact serves the most fantastic food For breakfast and lunch with a very friendly owner, a dedicated team of staff and is spotlessly clean. My veggie option for £10 had two poached eggs on mashed avocado on sourdough, old style baked beans, a piece of hash brown, mushrooms, halloumi and a good size fresh salad. Unbelievably good. My friend had roast beef and Yorkshire pudding and described it as absolutely perfect With the meat being very tender.”

“Was recommended to try this place out by friends and my god was it a good recommendation, traveled 35 minutes and I would’ve done double it was that good! I had the triple burger with extra bacon (cripsy drizzled in maple syrup - WOOW), crazy fries and the bbq chicken wings. The burger patties so soft, the chips perfectly cooked, the chicken marinated so perfect and so succulent!! Everything from the food to the service was absolutely spot on and I can’t wait to come back again, just wish I lived closer so I could order takeaway.”

After having a conversation over the phone with Jade I instantly felt relaxed and at ease and booked her straight away. Jade offers a home service and a organic self tanning spray. Jade arrived at my home and made me feel so comfortable with getting into my underwear and I was so incredibly happy with the results. The tan was so natural, it didn’t smell, and it just looked like I’ve been on holiday for two weeks. I had a big social media event in London so I had to look my best and Jade organic tan made me feel and look incredible. I totally recommend this amazing small business not only is Jade a lovely person she made me feel really comfortable and at ease in my own home to get down to my underwear and stand there and get sprayed which sometimes is quite daunting. “The last time I enjoyed authentic Satay Chicken, cooked to perfection on a charcoal BBQ with proper peanut sauce, was at Satay Corner, a delightful Hawker Centre in Singapore. Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely husband and wife team, and our waitress, Tara, was outstanding. They made us feel like part of the family, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was buzzing with energy. We started with every Satay skewer on the menu - the sambal and peanut sauce were absolutely incredible! We then had the curries and their fried fish, finishing off with banana fritters for dessert. “Just why this small and friendly restaurant isn’t packed out every night is a mystery!!! Spread the word - it is fantastic!!! We went with friends a week ago to this Mauritian fusion restaurant for the first time and it was like discovering a treasure hidden in plain sight. We were greeted warmly by a very friendly waitress and had our pick of tables as there were only two other tables taken. My wife and I shared a starter of Black Tiger Prawn Fusion which was absolutely fantastic. We then both had a Daube de Poulet for our mains. I cannot begin to describe just how good this was - the chicken was moist, tender and yet still firm and the sauce was amazing. We option to vary the heat level of the spices was good as well. With a couple of glasses of wine the bill came to less than £30/head - an absolute bargain for this quality of food. The menu offers a suitably wide selection that should appeal to all tastes whilst enabling everything to be freshly cooked to order. We looked at other dishes coming out of the kitchen and they all looked very appetising indeed. All I can say is that you should go to this restaurant - it will be something worth while I promise you. And then tell all your friends about it and make sure they go too - they will thank you!!!”

“Have eaten in this restaurant a few times always been great. Haven’t been for 4 or 5 years. Visited on Sunday for Sunday set lunch. I didn’t realise they did the traditional roast beef chicken or lamb along with fish dishes. £22.95 for 2 courses. Starters we all had prawn cocktail nicest one almost ever eaten very generous portion size packed with prawns. Roast Beef was delicious potatoes light crispy and fluffy very good horseradish in fact I think it’s the best roast dinner for miles around. Service great. Very impressed why haven’t I come more often I ask myself. Will be back.”

Everyone was very friendly and I was offered a cup of tea. Clara did an excellent blow dry - great volume and also offered to tidy up the back of my neck with the razor.”

“We love The Od Courthouse Cafe. A gem in High Barnet, especially when you have smaller children. The coffee is great (alternative milks available), food has a good variety (GF and Vegan, and dairy free) and there is plenty of space and ride one toys to keep them occupied whilst you can actually enjoy a cup of coffee, great cake and chat. We frequently come, especially during the summer. The community is what helps make a cafe like this so great, everyone is friendly, locals donate preloved ride ons/ sand toys and children have already been friendly and played so well.”
