“To anyone wishing to visit this restaurant, this location is an amazing place to experience and to dine. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, as soon as I walked in I was seated immediately, and was waited on within 5 min. special recognition goes to Fatima for her hospitality and brilliant service. Additionally to the bar team Beri and Mike for the amazing cocktail. Additionally I will be paying a visit again very soon. so I do hope the service remains the same. Thank you again Shish Meze Abirdge. See you soon.”

“A lovely cafe in Romford with great food! The prices are reasonable and the staff are very kind. I’ve been here a few times and have never been disappointed. I usually get the full English breakfast with tea, and my boyfriend likes the chef special set 1. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice during the summer. The toilet is inside and was spotless. I would recommend!”

“This is a really special cafè. I had a delicious muffin with bacon, avocado and fried egg. Great price. Had no idea all of the proceeds go to homeless charity until I went inside. Really nice welcoming and homely atmosphere inside too. Really impressed with the volunteers especially one guy who was doing so well despite English not being his first language. Will deff go back and would encourage others to go too.”

“It managed to meet my expectations. The room was okay, the view could be better, but it's not a big deal. Breakfast was a little bit crowded, but delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is not very close to the city center, but manageable. Overall it was a good price-value hotel in London, highly recommended.”

“A new exciting lebanese place has open on Romford Road, East London. They have a private dinning area downstairs. The shop floor had seating for about 25 people, a further 30 people in the basement and also an outdoor seating area for 10. On a nice sunny day, you can enjoy the sun beaming with a lovely tasty meal and nice range of mojitos. They do shisha here too, so it is nice to relax in the evening on the front decking. My personal favourites are the grilled jumbo halloumi cheese and hummus for starters. Lamb Shawarma platter with chips or spicy potatoes and salad for mains. Some grilled wings for good measure. A strawberry mojito to finish it off. Very friendly staff, nice family atmosphere and good music from Amr Diab. Waqas, the owner is a real gentlemen. He has created a lovely halal restaurant, you will enjoy your time here. Salim Patel”

“This place is excellent. Very reasonable and Ahmed ensures the food is made to your expectations. I am very fussy when it comes to food, especially Indian as is my 10 year old nephew. However, this place is now his place of choice for an Indian takeaway, previously this was a restaurant in Portugal!”

A month ago we moved into a shop nearby, and since then we have our lunch at this place never disappointed from the food, and impressed with the kindness of the people who run the business and their employees. I highly recommend trying Lamb Tikka Biryani and all the vegetable dishes.”

“⸻ I’ve been to Tandoori Hut in Chadwell Heath a lot of times now, and it never disappoints. The Naga Wings are my absolute favourite – spicy, smoky, and full of flavour, easily the best wings I’ve had locally. I also tried the Doner, and it was surprisingly good – well-seasoned, not greasy, and really satisfying. Their Indian food overall tastes fresh and authentic, and you can tell they put effort into it. Definitely my go-to spot when I want proper flavour. Definitely recommend.”
