“In the heart of Croydon, a Sri Lankan restaurant, from the outside it did not suggest anything good, in reality, a really charming, clean and well-kept restaurant. short waiting times. GREAT FOOD really tasty. reasonable prices. Really courteous staff also very friendly manger. bathrooms clean and well maintained. if you are in the area I recommend it. great! Also plates are really nice with sun and moon.”

“No longer Aqua. Noto Italian restaurant and café. My mixed grill was very good and I was full. Wife had seabass and said it was tasty. They are going to have jazz and r n b lunchtimes in the near future so give it a try and a follow.”

“This place is AMAZING. Im staying there at the minute and it was my birthday, my mum mentioned to staff briefly. And unofficially they delivered birthday balloons and a birthday card to my room. The hotel has such an amazing vibe to it for such a cheap price. Theres so many stores nearby, me and my friend went to an asian convenience store nearby! You NEED to come here!”

“I've found this spot some time ago, frankly it needs a mention. Easily one of the most under rated venues in Croydon. The staff are down to earth, helpful and add a vibrant splash of colour to the place, those they come into contact with love them. Thanks in particular to Amanda and Zoe for their service, made my visit extra special. Will update with further visit and share for one and all. People give them a try!! ❤️”

“We visited tonight as a couple for our anniversary dinner. The service was great, amazing cocktails and food. We really enjoyed everything we ate and drank! Our server was lovely, we liked the décor and the music and we will definitely be visiting again.”

“Wow!! My second time here and I absolutely love the food and the lovely staff. I travelled 40 mins and I am not disappointed at all. Food fresh and cooked properly , we even got a free cake. We spent £30 for 2 large meals with rice , plantain and coleslaw , a large side of fried fish , 2 dumplings and drinks. All this for £30 and cooked perfectly in 2025 ?? You won’t find a better place than here. You definitely need to come here!! We couldn’t even wait to get home we ate in the car right in front of the shop lol.”

“Wonderful food and great prices - if you want to taste true authentic Pakistani food this is your go to place! The staff are so friendly and nice and the food is amazing. The lamb Nihari, biryani and Payee are the best I’ve ever tasted! I always book in family orders and events through Zaika, never had any complaints only praise. Thank you as always!”

“We went for my son’s 9th birthday and everything was great. My son loved the food and he is a fussy eater! He ate the tomato pasta with garlic bread. Six people came including three adults and three children. Two children ate adult meals and all rated 5*s. I loved the atmosphere and the chef and waitress were amazing and attentive. I ate the seafood spaghetti and I enjoyed it i would say 4 out of 5. The pizza looked amazing and the calamari are definitely the two that stood out and we all took a liking to. My seat did need a shake to remove a little mess and the table had minor crumbs. Otherwise the table was ready when we arrived as I called ahead. All was put right quickly and we all very much enjoyed the meal.”

“The overall dining experience was truly delightful, and the food comes in very generous portions. I ordered the Lamb Cutlets, which is my preferred dish at every restaurant I visit, and the serving here was easily the best size I have ever encountered. The dish consisted of four substantial pieces, and the portion was definitely satisfying. I left the restaurant feeling completely full and content. I would highly recommend this establishment and plan to visit again soon. The staff was also friendly and exceptionally helpful, adding to the overall positive atmosphere.”

“Absolutely fantastic! The fish was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked with a crispy golden batter, and the chips were fluffy on the inside and wonderfully crispy on the outside. The portions were generous, and everything tasted amazing. The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a great atmosphere. “Just went for the first time and it certainly won’t be my last. It’s an excellent menu, really great options. A good mix of hearty stuff, but nice lighter options too. Meat, fish and veggie options. The place is clean and beautiful, service was spot on and the food was fresh and really well cooked. Absolutely delicious! The prices are really good. Pint of Amstel is £5.50 which is rare these days. The portions were also generous. Can’t wait to go back!”

“I had an incredible experience at El Patio Spanish Tapas Restaurant tonight! The staff made us feel truly special, and meeting them added a personal touch to our evening. The food was out of this world, especially the chicken – the best I've tasted in years, reminiscent of my time in Spain. “Food was delicious. The decor is beautiful too. I had the scallops for starters and they were cooked to perfection and the lamb rump for main was also nice. The drinks / cocktails were rather expensive for a Croydon restaurant but they were also pretty good. Portions are not the biggest to order some sides if you’re hungry.”

“Ponte Nuovo has got to be the best Italian in Croydon. A great selection of starters, the bread and oil is so simple yet incredibly moreish, and the main courses are full of flavour and depth. Big big portions. Save space for the deserts, the gigantic profiteroles in a sea of chocolate sauce, the insanely rich tiramisu. Staff are very friendly and speak highly of the italian chef and kitchen staff; a sure sign of a good front of house/back of house team relationship. Service was perfect, meals bought out together and well presented. This is somewhere you bring family for a great dinner. At this time of year it had a good but not overpowering christmas decorative theme. We're going back soon.”
