“Living in Notting Hill, you’re spoiled for choice of nurseries. I toured every one and my decision was easy. Being in Ladbroke Square Montessori feels like a warm hug. You can literally feel the joy exuding from the place. The children are engaged and thoughtful and most importantly thrilled to be there. The school truly puts children first. Offering every child a morning spot is a perfect example of this since most children are still napping when they start nursery. The lovely garden in the back and weekly visits to the gorgeous Ladbroke Square are two amazing perks. My daughter is actually disappointed on weekends because she is not going to nursery. She’s learned key skills and is set up for success to have a smooth transition to reception. I have made lifelong friends there as well as my children. I have now sent 2 children to nursery at Ladbroke Square. Best decision I ever made. It’s such a special place.”

“My son has been swimming with Goggle Squad since November and is really enjoying it. His confidence around the water has always been great but he’s been making rapid progress with the actual swimming since starting. The small classes with children of similar age really allow the teacher to focus on each child individually and the pool facilities are great too!”

“The Paddington Bear Experience was a truly special day out for both adults and children. The live actors were brilliant and engaging. The set and scenery was incredible - lots of attention to detail! Booking was made easy by the lovely staff. Overall, it was a memorable day out and special treat at Christmas time.”

“We had visited quite a few nurseries for my 18-month old and and were thrilled to find Crafty Wizards preschool which unusually for a preschool takes from 18-months. We love the format that all ages are mixed together promoting peer learning and the setting is intimate and personal. The staff are wonderful and really care about the kids. There are two gardens, one of which is a bit like a small forest school with a mud kitchen, which our little one loves. Since day 1 he’s been so happy to be there with zero separation anxiety. Highly recommend to other parents who want something different to the usual nursery format.”

“I booked a combined session of sup yoga and paddleboarding. Experience and location for this activity was great. Small group and relaxed atmosphere. Lots of lovely pics from organisers shared after the session. Will definitelly book with them again. They also run a club with regular social paddles whole year round.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my trial Krav Maga class- the class is great exercise, practical, and definitely boosts one’s endorphins- Jack is a very patient and friendly instructor. I have since applied for membership and look forward to future classes! “My 4 year old daughter attends Ballet at Starmakerz every week and she absolutely adores it. Every morning she asks “is it ballet today?” it is without doubt the highlight of her week. She was nervous to start with but Lisa and the team were amazing at encouraging her to give it a try and even offered us a second free trial, after which I could barely drag her away at the end! Really can’t recommend highly enough, even for the shy children it’s a brilliant confidence boost.”

“I completed the beginner and advanced classes over the summer and absolutely loved them! Colette and Robin were great at explaining each step of learning and we left feeling inspired watching them dance after their demonstrations! The class was a great size and everyone was very friendly and kind to us. Despite not knowing how to dance, by the end of the course I was shocked at how much I had learnt! They also helped introduce us to places we could keep practicing and dancing in London. It was a lovely part of the week to look forward to and I would absolutely recommend!!”

“Our children have been taking lessons with RSB for the last 9 years, and we really can't recommend them highly enough. Our daughter takes several dance classes in different disciplines which she absolutely loves. All 3 of our children also attend Starlight, their musical theatre course, which they enjoy immensely. The numerous performance opportunities the children have had has really helped them to grow in confidence and to develop life skills which sadly can't always be taught within the confines of the National Curriculum. RSB's teachers are fantastic, both in their level of expertise and their ability to nurture the children as individuals.”

My daughter has a real sense of being properly trained in ballet at the age of 9, as there is formality in the form of uniform and exam preparation without it feeling too strict. “Dilek is the best ballet teacher I’ve ever trained with. She really cares about the individual improvement of all her pupils and pushes you to be the best dancer you can be. “Fantastic ballet school. My daughter has been attending for the past few months. We have tried other ballet schools within the area, but found that there was not enough attention and ethos on learning, they seemed more focused on playing games and entertaining the children. With Nutcracker ballet school you really get a mixture of learning and fun. The lessons are very structured and allot of thought and effort goes into them. Would definitely recommend.”

“My son loves going to nursery now. He excitedly runs to get to press the doorbell to go in and comes out smiling at pick up. It wasn't an easy start for him as he hadn't been away from me apart from with a couple of other family members before. Staff were accommodating and mindful of his needs and discussed with me how to help him settle and worked to find a strategy that made him feel nursery was a safe space. They were also very kind when I had my own little wobble as I was feeling worried about the whole situation. I love that new activities are set up each day. Pictures of these and of what the kids are up to are posted on the private parents facebook group a couple times a day. It means we can show my son and chat about his day and what is going on at nursery. It helps build his speech, but also allows us to learn more about who is important to him at nursery and what he enjoys even though he isn't yet able to express it fully in words. My son enjoys being outside. With the nursery's vast garden and free flow between in and outdoors most of the time, he clearly makes the most of it. Good wipe down coat advisable.”

“The most friendly and lovely dance class in London:) I have been with Street Dance London for over a year and it has always been an absolute pleasure to attend all the classes, all the teachers are really nice and encouraging and everybody is really supportive. There are lots of classes and locations to choose from so highly recommended for anyone who loves to dance!! It doesn’t matter if you are a complete beginner or experienced dancer, you will find a class which is great for you to enjoy:)!!”

“This is a wonderful local ballet school. My daughter has been attending classes here since she was 3 years old and is now 10. During that time, I have seen her progress so beautifully, developing confidence and physical control in her ballet technique. The teachers are all incredibly caring. They take safeguarding extremely seriously, and always have the children's welfare at the forefront of their minds. I have every confidence in their ability to look after my child, and it's obvious that they are adored by the kids. I would definitely recommend this school.”
