“Family Christmas meal for 9. Was a bit apprehensive at first. We had a brilliant time. The food was lovely. The staff and manager. Wow I take my hat off to them. The place was packed but they did a great job. The singer was very good but as we were near had a bit of trouble talking. Would definitely recommend this pub.”

“This pub is fantastic. Music Friday Saturday Sunday. All staff and landlady friendly. Due to recent reviews there are a few horrible reviews from a sour ex partner that is an alcoholic and was caught drink drinking 5 times over the limit. Please ignore them as these are being handled in the appropriate manner. Please come see for yourself, before putting this pub at the bottom of your list. Landlady is professional, helpful and very friendly”

“I didnt eat here so cannot comment. Entry is from a side door, which is a bit sketchy. Ive been here twice now and been served by three different servers and all of them have been friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Real ale from the mighty Oak Maldon on tap was good and well looked after.”
