“Update in 2025: No longer VAT-free. Better off buying in France (but the stock is limited) and detaxing. Sales team were helpful and kind and were happy to explain that the tax situation changed since my previous purchase. Lots of WOCs and classic items. No beige or nude WOCs since those are often hard to find. 2018: VAT-free Chanel store at Heathrow (VAT-free if you’re a non-EU resident)! There’s another store at Terminal 5 too if you’re looking for something hard to find (I believe they will call and ask for you). Staff are helpful and professional. Was able to browse and complete a purchase of a purse within a 10 minute span or less (flight was departing soon). The saleswoman was able to get the purchase done efficiently and get me out the door to my flight.”

“Before the pandemic, I regularly went there for lunch (TooGoodTooGoo app), it's a pity that they don't operate like this anymore, wonderful womens (always happy) worked there! Too bad I'll probably never see them again. Nutrient rich food, decent portions, cycled 35 minutes after work (one way) for lunch. When I pass in the area I have only good memories. Jakub.”

“I read these reviews following an issue with my Qubic 60cm Cabinet (70cmx60cm) and felt very concerned, but my experience of their customer services was fantastic. My builder took delivery and didn't check before signing. It was only weeks later we took it out to fit and saw the box had been badly damaged in transit (hole from outside all the way through) and one of the doors was completely smashed. I had ordered through Builder Depot and they were no help so I contacted HiB directly. I received a very fast response and despite the timeframe for reporting issues having passed, they offered to replace the door as a gesture of goodwill. They were efficient and helpful and the cabinet itself looks great. Thank you!”

“Exemplary customer service. I needed an unusual item at short notice (for a birthday present). I called ~10 suppliers, all 'no-stock' and 2-4 week lead time -- several admitted that this item was (always) drop-shipped so there was nothing they could do to accelerate. Then spoke to Robert at The Home Market -- 'no-stock' again, BUT -- Robert then worked out where I could pick up the item from a more local (to me) wholesale stockist, organised all the paperwork and arranged a (non-standarad) pickup for me that was just 20min away, all by the next day. Item collected, hassle-free -- happy wife! Result. Absolutely full marks to Robert and his team for going that bit further to make this happen for me. Oh, and Home Market's price for the item was as low as any of the other (unable-to) suppliers, some up to 50% higher.”
