“We had a very memorable dinner at Carlo’s Trattoria ! Despite booking a table for 22 of us at very short notice , Bonnie and Jay went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing dinner for my family gathering. The service was attentive and impeccable throughout the whole evening and the food truly delicious with very generous portions. We all had the fixed menu with a selection of starters ( the fried calamari are the best I have eaten in a very long time - even my Sicilian auntie thought they were tastier than the ones in Sicily ) followed by the prawns risotto and fresh ravioli with porcini mushroom and sage which were both heavenly! We ended the dinner with an amazing selection of desserts, all beautifully presented. I live in London but I will definitely drive back to Guildford just to eat at Carlo’s again!. “This place never fails to deliver quality at all levels. Their food is stunning and very very reasonably priced. The sharing taco platter with two drinks was £30 and was plenty enough for 2 people. The service was rapid and attentive but not overbearing. The whole place is really vibrant and well decorated. This is by far my favourite place in Guildford.”

Madras chicken curry and lamp curry with Naan were my favourites. They do also have vegetarian options and serve basmati rice. “We came in on 1st November for our really early Christmas Do. As always Sam and the team were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was great and the pub was full. “Myself and two friends decided to try Bengal Dynasty as is was close to the Travel Lodge we were staying at. Being a Sunday evening it was quiet and we were seated straight away. Menu had some great choices. Two of us opted for the Tandoori mixed grill. Absolutely superb - I really recommend. My friend ordered Chicken Tikka Balti, he really enjoyed it, although he said it was a bit spicy. We were even given free shot of Baileys and a whiskey. Very polite waiter and front of house staff, food was quickly served. I would definitely return if ever I was to visit the area again.”
