Laura and Hollie have so much passion and skills in bringing the best out of children. When my 2nd child was born, we couldn’t wait for her to be old enough to join Stage West. There are many big names chain drama schools nearer to us. We trialed them all in the beginning and know the difference so we stayed with Stage West ever since. She was nervous to start with but Lisa and the team were amazing at encouraging her to give it a try and even offered us a second free trial, after which I could barely drag her away at the end! “Saeeda is a professional and versatile belly dance and Romany dance teacher. Having a professional dance background growing up, Saeeda is a versatile dancer and teacher, who can teach not only the dance itself, but important performance skills as well. Saeeda studies the history and origins of dance deeply to deliver appropriate nuances of multiple different types of bellydance such as those from Egypt and Turkey, and, in addition Romany dances from Romania, Kalbelia from India and the unique Gypsy dance from Russia! I was fortunate to learn Russian Gypsy dance from Saeeda and enjoyed the chance to perform on stage - the opportunity Saeeda provides for students of any level!”

“First time to SWPH elephant and impressed staff are helpful and friendly. Play: The Code set in 1950s Hollywood. The Code, Hayes Code was a code of conduct setting out moral issues could be portrayed on the screen. Nudity and homosexualty. The Code was similar to the previous censorship of plays exercised by The Lord Chamberlain in London. The cast are excellent especially John partridge and Tracey Bennett, last seen at the national theatre this year. Sadly ends very soon after a successful run. Worth seeing again if returns.”

“Took 4 grandchildren to see Beauty and the Beast on Saturday 6th December. The auditorium was half full, but the company brought such energy and confidence that no one noticed! All the singing and dancing was generous 8/10, and the obligatory ‘Schlick’ whilst scene changing was slick and hilarious! What a great evening’s entertainment! Shame on us locals that the theatre was not full-but this is a winner. Only person who needs some critical notes is the Witch. Bring sinister and evil doesn’t equate to quiet and sneaky. Get your face out of your hat, naked eye contact with the audience and speak loudly!!!! You have a fabulous voice……go for it!! ALL the kids loved it (ages 6 to 15) as did I!!”

“Yokoso Japan is one of my favourite restaurants in Barnet - the quality of the food is amazing, and the range is great for such a quaint place. I frequently have dreams about the nasu dengaku ”

“The theatre is located in the Victoria Centre, a very large department store complex with many shops. The theatre has two bars (also serving coffee) and clean toilets. There are no bad seats; you have a good view of the stage from everywhere. We saw the Kinks musical ‘Sunny Afternoon’. It was excellent.”

“Wonderful organisation with exceptional performers, run by lovely people. We discovered The Mozartists through our mother, who over the years enjoyed many performances and recordings, thanks to Ian, Debbie and the accomplished performers. We look forward to attending more concerts ourselves.”
