“Great furniture store and cafe. We had to return some furniture as we ordered the wrong item our mistake. The return process was easy you just enter a code then go to a till 40 seconds and it was all done. We then headed upstairs to try the cafe, it was breakfast time so that's what we had I tried the £2.99 vegetarian breakfast it was delicious the coffee tasted good also. For the price and quality it without a doubt its a great breakfast stop. Someone on the reviews said on their visit the cafe was dirty, on my visit I found the cafe area spotless and fresh throughout. My appreciation to the cleaning staff thanks. After that we headed through the store again I really enjoyed it I found no faults whatsoever. Disabled access is brilliant throughout. My only concern was all the staff we encountered were very unhappy and non engaging without any exceptions such a shame, perhaps its not a good place to work maybe.”

“Moving contents from flat to house. Service perfect from start to finish, Fernando was easy to deal with, gave us a fantastic price, had to deal with a date change which was handled with no fuss. The team arrived promptly with a phone call 20 mins prior, fast, efficient and took all the stress out of the process. Finally got the keys at 3pm - everything was set up exactly where we wanted, handled with care. A couple of larger items had to be disassembled and reassembled. “I purchased a table from Haydon, which I am really happy with. It arrived in the estimated time frame and looked just like the pictures. It feels and looks like great quality and more special than what you see in the shops for a very reasonable price. It actually looks nicer than ones I viewed and almost bought in some upmarket furniture stores and also feels better built. It included a bench to fit under which was good value. Assembly of the legs was easy as the holes were already drilled and just needed screwing in. He did us a custom size as his standard ones weren't quite right for us, which was great. I have had it for 4months now and no issues at all. Would buy from here again.”

“I have been visiting Toolstation, Beckenham on a regular basis for nearly a year. It has become like a second home! Customer service is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Items can be easily ordered, if not in stock and can be returned if not suitable. Michael Tasker served me today and has done on many previous occasions. He is a charming young man, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and goes out of his way to help. I was not rushed or made to feel a nuisance, especially when others were waiting. I am always treated with the utmost respect. I would also like to mention Ed, who has served me on many occasions in the past too. He has always been patient and helpful, especially when deciding which handles to choose as I was replacing all my internal door handles. It was no trouble for Ed to open several boxes of handles so I could make a decision. He also carried two huge tubs of Wallrock paste to my car, without hesitation. These two young men are a huge asset to Toolstation and I hope they will be rewarded for their excellent service. I have also been served by many other members of staff and all have given the same high standard of service. Well done guys and ladies! Thanks to all of you.”

“Nice, big and smart Next store located on the Purley way. As the store is of good size. Has sofa, lighting, tables, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom departments. The store is very well stocked and tidy. Also very useful as Click and collect Online shopping can be collected from here using the touch screen monitor. Plenty of parking available. Recommend to go after 7pm weekday as traffic in Purley is a nightmare.”
