“We went to support the money raising event for Matt. The venue is great for live music and has a wide variety of drinks including their own beers. More variety of non alcoholic beers would be great. They have a simple menu which is great. Unfortunately the hotdogs we had were very dry and plain but still value for money. Somewhere we would go again”

“Great food served promptly. Bit of a queue outside on a Sunday night, but stuck with it and glad we did as the queue shifted to nothing in less than five minutes. Just the right amount of time reading the menu before the waitress asked for our order, which came less than 10 minutes later. All freshly prepared and bang on to the descriptions in the menu. The dishes looked exactly like the menu which is rare these days. Waitress was quick with the next round of drinks and then the bill. Couldn't really ask for more, thank you Yasmin.”

“I stayed here for one night only. Imagine that the place is a hotel for 200 years, but the building was built in the 15th century!! The rooms are cosy , combining the old and modern. Quiet place only disturbed by the noise of the cars passing on the bridge built over the river that lays in front of the hotel. There is hat and cold breakfast included, which is quite unique. Will surely come back one day.”

“I looked online for a country style kitchen and fell in love with the Homebase cream Country Shaker kitchen. I decided to pop into the Staines Homebase to take a look at it in person and was greeted by kitchen designer, Aneisha Muhammad. I explained the look I was after and she immediately sat down at her computer and designed my new kitchen. Aneisha is a very experienced designer and was able to made use of every inch of space and while my focus was purely on the look of the kitchen, she made sure it was practical for every day use. As well as the design, Aneisha did everything possible to make sure I did not miss out on special offers and deals. I was delighted with the design plan and ordered the kitchen. Homebase gave me details of a builder who had glowing reviews and the kitchen installation was very quickly booked in. During the installation, Aneisha continued to work closely with the builders to ensure a smooth installation. Hearing from others, having a new kitchen is a very stressful experience, but for me it was the complete opposite. Working with Aneisha was a wonderful experience. She is such a lovely, friendly person who took care of everything without any fuss. I received a very personal service and a genuine interest in my new kitchen. The end results speak for themselves and I have had so many “WOWS” from friends and family who have seen the new kitchen. Thank you Aneisha and Homebase for delivering my dream kitchen.”

“Very warm welcome at this charming house. Bed and Breakfast is a bit misleading. Breakfast was a couple of biscuits and tea or coffee in the room. No problem for us - we never have breakfast! Lovely comfortable bed and perfectly situated for Heathrow terminal 5 (7mins in the car). Paul, can I recommend that you leave the fridge door open when not in use? It didn't smell too nice from being closed! Really enjoyed playing your piano! Keep practicing! We'll definitely use your establishment again!”

Chicken biriyani with rice is also very good. Piri piri Chips are great . Food cooked well and you don't wait long. Some seating and tables inside too.”

“Am amazing find hidden away. This is in a food court but it feels like you step into south east Asia when you go inside. The food was very authentic, fresh and I would go far as to say the best dim sum / yum cha I've tried in the UK! So fresh, they make in front. Also there is a bar in the food court with many types of Asian drinks and beers. Small family run stalls in the food court. I saw Chinese, Japanese and Malaysian from memory. Dim sum reasonably priced - video shows the menu. My photos go into the food court too.. love it!”
