“This place is under new management and is truly changed for the better, the new rotund boss has made some brilliant changes. Tom who resembles the jolly round butcher we all grew up with, has rebranded as a ‘Tea and sausage sandwich emporium’. You can come and enjoy your pot of lapsang suchong and bacon sarnie until late afternoon. The colourful range of local clientele also makes each visit similar to a visit to the zoo! Well worth a visit! Honestly the only coffee shop in town that is worth frequenting!”

“This is by far the best café I have ever been to! The menu has a wide range of affordable and delicious items - especially the homemade cakes! All of the staff, especially the owner are kind and accommodating. Myself and my boyfriend spend a lot of time here, revising/studying and are always made to feel welcome here. The decor is beautiful and there are occasionally fun events held here in the evening. If you are in Blackhorse Road or a student situated locally, I would definitely recommend visiting as it is my most favourite place to go to! “I'm not sure what all of the negative reviews are about; this is my first Japanese BBQ; I didn’t even know that there was such a thing. I've tried several Korean BBQ's and the prices for a similar selection of BBQ items is compatible. When I arrived at around 15:00 on a Sunday, the restaurant was empty; no customers whatsoever, this normally sets off alarm bells but Japanese BBQ... That's got to be experienced. Our waiter was attentive and efficient, he explained the process of the using BBQ, but I have to admit I did have to prompt him to get the information else we would have had more food stuck to the BBQ grill. He stated that a BBQ serving was suitable for an individual; I would agree to that if you didn't want any starters or side dishes. We also added Gyoza and noodles; I think that it was a little too much, I think that a single platter for one is correct if you haven't eaten for a few days. We chose one selection the chefs choice of mixed meats and one selection of seafood; we ate it all but I felt uncomfortably full afterwards; so much for my plan of a "light lunch". I will eat here again as I love Korean BBQ and this is on par with that with the advantage of not having to travel to New Malden.”

“Lovely little Italian in Eastcote. Food was very tasty and favourite dish was caprino al forni (with chillies added in). Starters were nice (brushetta and calamari) but the mains were better. For dessert the honeycomb cheesecake was the favourite. Not the cheapest of places but in current climate nothing is. Will definitely be returning.”

“I visited Bill's Greenwich few months ago during summer. It was a delightful experience with good weather. I ordered the smoked salmon egg benedict, which was beautifully presented. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked. The smoked salmon added a delightful flavor that complemented the dish wonderfully. The pancakes also did not disappoint. Stacked high and adorned with peanut caramel sauce and banana slices, simple but delicious. To conclude, I will definitely come again when I go to Greenwich.”

“My family is visiting London from the USA and we stopped here for a Friday breakfast! What a pleasant choice!! We all loved everything we got. I personally ordered the Hollandaise Poached Egg with Ham, a side of Alsace Bacon, and the French Breakfast Mariage Frere tea! Everything was lovely!!! The Poached Egg was phenomenal and tasty, and the Hollandaise was delicious. It was the perfect horton size. The bacon was my favorite bacon I’ve had in London so far, and the tea was the perfect breakfast choice! Not to mention, the atmosphere and decor was beautiful! My family continued to rave about how lovely the music was, the pretty inside and outside seating, and the presentation of everything! It was all lovely and we would all dine here again! P.S. I also tried my sister’s banana and nutella waffle and that was delicious too! She has a health issue that allows her to usually only eat small portions and she feels nauseous when she eats, but she ate at least 2/3 of the waffle and loved it!”

“I liked them, and Greek food they serve! I have been there twice, the first one we went with mezzes and the second one with main dishes. I loved each time the food I tried! I especially liked baked feta cheese pastry, which was nice with thin dough. I also liked the kofte (meatball) I tried yesterday evening. Although they serve Greek food, the staff is not Greek and there are non-Greek dishes on the menu. It’s located close to St Pancras/King’s Cross, quite central and easy to walk from the station. The staff is nice and kind, they serve really nice. In the last time, we did not have a res and just walked in; the guy was so kind in preparing a table for us right away. The food is good and nicely prepared and I would say the portions are big anough as well. It’s a good value for quality and moderate pricing. Highly recommended!”

“I always have a relaxing time at Villiers. This is a cozy and laidback café, with a lot of different treats on offer that cater to a variety of diets. There are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. I was very appreciative that I could choose between a few flourless snacks. I’ve had the flapjack, the cheesecake, and the salted caramel brownie, all of which I enjoyed. Shoutout to the barista Anna, who always ensures that the gluten free goodies I get are handled safely so I can enjoy them without getting a reaction! The coffee is very good, and I can't complain when there's nice latte art. I don’t love that the latte is served in a glass instead of a mug, but that's more of a preference than a comment on the quality. It tastes great regardless! In short: very nice and recommend!”

“Proper old school cafe with great food options at reasonable prices. Have just moved out the area and gutted as this was just around the corner. Do the best quarter pounder burger (get it with cheese burger sauce and lettuce and onions!). They’ll do whatever you want to order, always cooked fresh and the guy behind the till is a top guy! If you want a fresh sub, sandwich, fried breakfast or burger and in the area this is the place to go. Also great atmosphere of locals, regulars, mix of people.”

The service was good, the only sad thing was that the place was empty apart from me. Recommend this place if you want a good, honest breakfast, the rest of the menu looks pretty extensive too.”

“I went to this coffee shop few days ago, and ordered a cappuccino which was damn amazing. The latte art in that coffee was so good that I even took a picture of it. There was this guy named Parin who was a very good guy exceeding excellent hospitality to his customers. I recommend anyone and everyone to visit this coffee shop if you’re craving for fantastic coffee drinks.”

“It’s always nice to have a cafe in a park but this one is outstanding! It’s made Canons Park a destination place to visit. I’ve already had a delicious mozzarella and roasted veg roll, a luxury matcha green tea with vanilla, and the homemade banana and chocolate croissant was a real treat! And such lovely people serving. Can’t recommend enough!”
