“I have the misfortune to have significant ill health with complex comobidities but have felt hugely supported by UCLH and its caring staff. I have had two recent admissions requiring extensive investigation and medical management. I was impressed by both the kindness and professionalism of all staff.”

    London Christian School

    ★★★★☆ 4.3
    Closed

“London Christian School feels like a caring community of families and teachers, rather than a school! The smaller size means everyone knows everyone, yet newcomers are warmly welcomed. Whilst there is naturally a strong Christian ethos, different religions are respected and embraced. Our children are in Years 5 and 3, have both been at the school since the age of four, and come home every day tired but elated! The teaching is excellent; strong academics are balanced with sport, music, extra-curricular activity and individual pastoral support where needed. The location is fantastic for anyone living in the “inner south east” London area or working around London Bridge or the City. The only limitation of LCS is that due to the central location, sports fields are not on-site. But they make the best possible use of the rooftop playground and the nearby council park and astroturf, with the older children heading out to the local facilities daily for a run around. If we go into any further lockdowns during 2021, LCS can be trusted to continue to deliver a fantastic educational experience; ensuring no child gets left behind whilst being realistic about what is possible in a home-schooling environment. In the meantime, it has been clear to us that the teachers and children alike are very excited to be back at school and are making the most of the time they spend together - having fun and building friendships, learning and exploring, and feeling part of their special school community once again. We cannot recommend LCS highly enough!”

“What an inspirational day learning about enamelling on copper! Eleanor is a super hostess, such a welcoming, kind, methodical and informative teacher! We had lots of time to experiment with techniques, and fully finish four pieces. I would definitely recommend and I can’t wait to go back for future courses ✨”

    Step By Step Nursery

    ★★★★★ 4.8
    Closed

“A lovely and caring local nursey. My son has been there since he was nine months old. I took him out to another nursery for a few months in the summer thinking that he would enjoy bigger garden space but he never did. We returned to SBS and he's been happy since. They organise Christmas play and summer activities allowing parents to join. My kid sometimes sings Christmas songs at home and I know that he's been practising for the Christmas play. Another plus is that parents in the nursery know each other because there is a playground just right outside of the nursery and plenty of opportunity for parents to exchange info during pick up time. I would recommend SBS.”

    Little Rosie's Nursery School

    ★★★★★ 4.8

“I looked at a few nursery's for our daughter but I knew i had found the one for us when I visited Little Rosies. It is quite simply the best start all round that we could have wanted for her. Family run, the whole team are dedicated to the children and the success of the nursery lies in the clear commitment, enthusiasm, open communication and dedication of the staff and the ethos - which is the perfect balance between giving the kids clear boundaries and structure combined with warmth, fun and creativity/learning. Rose is very creative with themes and ideas and great at encouraging focus. Nancys cooking is eclectic and loved by all. My daughter has absolutely loved her time there. She is set up and ready for school and we will be forever grateful to Rose, Catia, Nicole and Nancy for everything they have done. We will miss our time there and highly recommend the nursery.”

    Gwendolen House Nursery School

    ★★★★☆ 4.7

“We couldn’t be happier with the care our son receives at Gwendolen House Nursery. We are highly impressed by the warm, nurturing environment, and the passionate, dedicated staff who genuinely care about our child’s well-being and development. Our standout feature of Gwendolen House Nursery is its exceptional outdoor space. It’s an inspiring area for exploration and discovery. The children have the freedom to enjoy fresh air, learn about the environment, and get involved in hands-on activities, all within a safe and beautifully maintained space. Indoors, the facilities are equally impressive – spacious, homely, and filled with engaging activities and resources to help the children learn and develop through play. My son has made wonderful progress since joining, becoming more confident and independent with each day. Communication with parents is also fantastic. I always feel well-informed about his progress and the activities he's been enjoying. I would wholeheartedly recommend Gwendolen House Nursery to any parent looking for a nurturing environment for their child to learn, while having lots of fun.”

    Melissa's Magical Years Day Nursery

    ★★★★☆ 4.6

“My daughter loves going to this nursery. They always welcome her with the biggest smile and make her feel special every time. My daughter has learnt so much since being there for the last year or so. She has become more confident and her breath of vocabulary has most definitely widened because of their teaching. When she comes home she is always repeating songs they sing during circle time. I would highly recommend this nursery as not only do they support the child to progress but also give really good advice to parents regarding potty training etc. Whenever I pick my daughter up I love how nicely the children play together and enjoys playing with her friends.”

“I am a pupil of Wilson's School, and let me just say it is absolutely phenomenal. There are several bad reviews by Wallington haters, but that's just them being envious. This school is absolutely elite as far as secondary schools go. Remember that 100,000 children take the 11+ exams every year and only 192 make it into Wilson's. You are guaranteed a stunning life at Wilson's, due to our highly qualified teachers, our style of teaching which aims to get us all to 9's (the equivalent of an A**) on our GCSE exams and our amazing wellbeing lead.”
