They also serve fantastic pizza’s where you can choose your own toppings or have the monthly special. We often get the dough balls as they are the perfect accompaniment to a few pints! “We had our Work Christmas Lunch on 18/12/2025, the Christmas menu was AMAZING! Plenty of food on the plate, we ordered some extra trimmings, which wasn't necessarily needed but definitely happy we had them as the food was sooo good we just could stop eating! “We came for a "proper Sunday roast" and it did not disappoint! The food was phenomenal and service equally wonderful. We split a beef roast, mussels and smoked salmon pate for our family of 3. We finished with the Christmas pudding. It was more than enough and each dish was spot on! The staff were friendly and attentive and the ambiance was everything one would hope for an English pub. Highly recommend!”

“I went to 144 On The Hill on Saturday evening and had a lovely experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service was attentive without being intrusive, and the food was absolutely delicious — beautifully presented and full of flavour. “A decent pub, I liked it. Probably because of its proximity to the park, the pub was crowded on Sunday, with as many dogs as people. I was also with my dog, so the atmosphere was pleasant. My friends and I sat by the fireplace with a fire, and in the hall, there was a faint smell of smoke, and the dull crackling of logs in the fire could be heard. The Sunday roast was delicious. I liked the half chicken, though the potatoes weren't tasty. The cider is the best you can get, Aspal. A wonderful Sunday before Christmas. I recommend that you visit here too.”

“Hidden Gem In Putney I recently visited The Arab Boy and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The atmosphere of the pub is cozy and welcoming, a perfect blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. I ordered the fish and chips, and it was simply divine – crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside, just as it should be. To complement my meal, I enjoyed a pint of Guinness, which was perfectly poured and served cold. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that everything was to my liking. “A neighbourhood pub, that we have frequented over the years. I love the homely, cosy interior, and the staff are very lovely. Often just to have a drink. But we recently discovered that they also do pretty good food. Portion sizes for the dishes are also generous. They provide snacks to nibble on as well like toasted bread and butter, and veggie crisps. But one thing to note is that this is not somewhere you go if you are in a hurry. It looks like they have a very small crew. The food service is very slow, we were waiting for about an hour before our main courses showed up, even when the pub was not even full, and we had come in off-peak times.”

“The home of English Rugby, I still went in. The Sun Inn is a glorious Richmond pub with plenty of rugby pictures and trinkets. Good selection of both cask and keg beers on offer. Great service from the island bar courtesy of the wonderful staff. Love the famous picture of Fran Cotton just after his bath! Super pub!”

“By far the most most accommodating pub for private events!! We recently had our Christmas party hosted at The Victoria Inn by the most incredible staff, Emma and Ian. They welcomed our vision with open arms, allowing us to take over the full pub inside and out! Applying graphic to the outside of the pub, renaming the pub for the night, dress and theme the inside, provide our own entertainment (musical bingo singer and a DJ!) and even wore branded t shirts all evening, all with a smile! The planning process with Emma was seamless, she has the best ideas and wants to make your private event so special. This shows, our guests couldn't stop raving about the homely and friendly atmosphere. I'll undoubtedly be choosing The Victoria Inn for future private events - the best venue for an unforgettable night - thank you!!”

“We have just rounded off a fantastic weekend trip to watch the rugby with a fantastic Sunday roast at the White Horse in Richmond. A really brilliant proper pub with a superb Sunday lunch menu that catered for all our family. The Pork Belly bites were incredible and the Cauliflower Cheese you could eat on its own… a must try! The staff were brilliant and easily the nicest roast I’ve had in years!”
