“I popped into The George in Harrow recently and was really impressed with how much it’s changed since the new owner took over. The vibe is genuinely friendly — staff were chatty and welcoming, and it had that easy, relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to linger. Watched the football there, and I loved that you could see the screens clearly no matter where you sat, which was perfect. Drinks were decently priced too, so it didn’t feel like you were getting stung just to enjoy a pint. And it’s spotless. Like, noticeably clean. I’ll definitely be heading back!”

“The only restaurant I will drive over an hour for - which is exactly what we did. I’ve only been here 4 times - the first was over 10 years ago - it was my first introduction to Persian food and let me tell you, my taste buds were amazed. I went again soon after my first visit but I just never forgot it and had been planning for years to return but never got an opportunity as it’s so far. I took my friends in 2023 and they were blown away by the food and have been asking to go back since then, which we did a few days ago. I have to say, not only is Persian food my favourite cuisine now but this restaurant has been consistently great since I first went many years ago until now. Food is delicious - full of flavour and meat is succulent - even the chicken is cooked to perfection. The prices are great and portions are huuuuge. Restaurant is busy and has a lovely atmosphere. I didn’t book a table but we would’ve happily waited as long as necessary to eat here - luckily the wait was only about 15 minutes this time. Service is very good with waiters being very attentive. I just love this place and kind of glad I don’t live near here because I’d get obese from eating here every day - not to mention, poor too! Will return soon though. The restaurant is decorated quite traditionally - even though it clearly hasn’t had a revamp in decades, it works because I suppose it adds to the charm of the place and love the little tandoor area at the front of the restaurant. The only downside however is that the restaurant is not wheelchair friendly or accessible at all - there are steps to all of the dining areas.”

“After having a chinese favorite restaurant for years which now closed down, we discovered this lovely place! The roast duck and the beef in black bean sauce are absolutely amazing, the way we got used to. Happy that the tasty original recipes can still be enjoyed.”

“I recently stayed at Travelodge and had a great experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a short stay. The staff were polite and helpful, and check-in was quick and easy. The location was perfect, close to shops and public transport. Overall, it’s great value for money — I’ll definitely stay again!”

“You always get a very warm welcome at this restaurant. I have been on several occasions with an Indian friend who recommends the lovely vegetarian food. This time I took her advice and had the Thali, it was generous, freshly cooked and very tasty with a lovely selection of items. We had faluda mango too, which was a real treat and very nicely presented. Friendly, efficient and caring service from Sabna made for a relaxed and delicious lunch. The murals are great fun! I should love to return soon but I live quite a long way away.”

“I have never been to their location when they had one, so cant comment on inhouse service. I only ever use them on delivery apps. So far I have found the sushi to be really good, if i want decent shushi they are my go to. Fairly decently priced, quick to deliver and they never get my order wrong (so far). Not tried hot food though. All in all I guess I'm lucky compared to some other reviews here.”

“Visited this place to try out the food and was blown away by this little unassuming spot. The food featured Sri Lankan styled menu with and explosion of taste and authenticity. I didn’t stay in the hotel so can’t rate the hotel but the food! OMG! It was amazing! I’m just annoyed that my belly couldn’t take in anymore. Food was buffet styled and there was a reasonably stocked bar. I can happily say that I would remember this place and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the food.”

“Have to say the staff and customer service is absolutely top notch, super helpful and friendly people, couldn't ask for better! For the price, the pizzas are exceptionally good, vastly prefer the taste of Fat Pizza's Pizza (and quality) to Domino's, and with them constantly offering multiple free pizzas through their app on top of an already surprisingly cheap price, it's fast becoming my favourite place to order from when I get the rumblies. Good, cheap food.”

“This hotel is just a perfect location, just a walking distance to the underground station, very accessible for local buses, very closed to shops and restaurants. I really had a wonderful stay and I’m really pleased for its nice atmosphere. I’m very satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel, the size of the room is pretty decent. The helpfulness of the staff of the front desk was superb, he was really helpful, courteous and gives wonderful support in every way. Ali will give you some restaurant recommendations and giving directions to the top tourists spots to visit and how to get there. This hotel offers you a great service. I would come back to this hotel definitely in my future endeavours to London as it made my stay so special and worry free. “I work in London two weeks a month and this is always always always my go to place for brunch. I’ve been coming here for breakfast pretty consistently for about 6 months or more and every time the food was fresh, tasty, well presented, and came out quickly. The ladies are absolute gems as well. I went to a couple of other pricier and ‘fancier’ halal breakfast places in the surrounding area, but they never ticked all the boxes the way Jasmine’s do. It tends to be very busy on weekends but every time I got lucky and found a table, and again even when it was busy the food and service quality stayed the same which is a major plus.”

“My favorite place with Indian cuisine! Garlic naan is amazing, I often ask for extra garlic and it's absolutely amazing! I always take Butter Chicken, full of spices and flavors, and the more spicy Chilli Paneer, and it's great! The portions are good, the prices are very affordable for such delicious food. I have never been disappointed by this restaurant and I visit this place regularly. If you haven't tried it, you must!”

I wanted some Chinese after so long and this was so good, I got the stir fried egg noodles chicken with extra black bean sauce and chilly . Food was hot and fresh and veg was nice and crispy and they followed my notes perfectly. Food actually tasted fresher than other places and was packed well. “We had a wonderful experience at Indian Gastro Kitchen @ Kingsfield Arms! It was our first time visiting, and despite the restaurant being busy, the team went out of their way to accommodate us. My daughter had just flown in from Japan, and we needed an extra seat—without hesitation, they made it happen. I believe it was the owner or manager who welcomed us so warmly; she was incredibly thoughtful and gave that rare personal touch you don’t always find these days. All the staff were friendly, attentive, and kind throughout. It has a lovely, family-friendly atmosphere and is very local to us, which is a bonus. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to others looking for great food and genuine hospitality!”
