“Okay Grapelli you got me here with a rare 5 stars. Hands down some of the best service around, making me feel like I was back in a family run restaurant in Sicily. Food was top drawer with the pasta dishes cooked to perfection, the salads refreshing but with some real deep flavours running though and that Pistachio Brulee was something else. We were celebrating a join birthday and the team did a great job at making the evening feel a little extra special. I will be heading back soon to try a few more dishes on offer on the incredible looking menu.”

The location is very convenient, right off the motorway, making it ideal for travelers needing a stopover. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and offered good value for money. The beds were comfortable, and the soundproofing was decent considering its proximity to the M25. The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in and check-out were smooth and quick. The on-site amenities, including the restaurant and bar, were handy for a short stay, though the food options could be a little more varied. Parking was ample and secure, which is a big plus. Overall, it’s a reliable and budget-friendly choice if you’re looking for a convenient stop near the motorway.”

“I've been to a few Nandos and this is one of the best. A whole chicken was shared between two adults, with four sides, and this almost defeated us in terms of quantity as well as quality. It was a great meal of succulent chicken, with sides on a par with the main dish - they were absolutely smashing - rainbow slaw, grains with green beans & butternut squash and tender stem broccoli. Absolutely yummy, thank you - and in a motorway service station food hall too, which doesn't necessarily scream "quality". (A huge takeaway order had been received and I couldn't help but ask to take a photo of the 24 half chicken order being prepared). Thanks to the Boss and kitchen staff for obliging me.”

“Rob put together the most incredible itinerary for our honeymoon. When we first decided that we wanted to honeymoon in South Africa, we found ourselves overwhelmed with decisions. We reached out to Tailormade Africa and let them know that we both had never been to Africa and that we needed some serious guidance! We had a video call with Rob who took the time to get to know us - listening to our interests, expectations and wishes. From there, he presented us with an itinerary perfectly suited to our personalities and travel interests. We spent time in Cape Town, Franschhoek and Hermanus – loving the diverse wildlife, wine and culinary scene each place offered. The highlight our of trip though would have to be our stays at Rhino Ridge Lodge and Thonga Beach Lodge. At both lodges the staff were friendly and provided a high level of service, the guides were knowledgeable, and the food exceeded our expectations. The lodges were intimate and offered us the perfect time to disconnect. There is nothing quite like the experience of being surrounded by giraffes, elephants, rhinos and many more living in their natural habitats! We ended up renting a car to self drive from destination to destination. Though we had our reservations at first about driving, we ended up loving it. It gave us the freedom to set our own timetable and at no point did we ever feel unsafe. We were both grateful not to be in a stuffy tour bus with a bunch of other people. Rob was always available on WhatsApp through our trip to check in and make sure everything was always to our liking. Though we didn’t run into any issues, it was comforting to know there was always support on hand. He even took the time to chat with us once we got back home to hear about our trip and any concerns, if we had any. We chose Tailormade Africa in hopes that they would offer us a personalized experience that the big tour groups lack, and they did not disappoint. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again! “Had a really lovely, and tasty dinner here. The food was delicious, service was very prompt and the atmosphere was nice. Felt like a real family run, “mammas homemade” restaurant. Usually not a big fan of Italian food but the food here would make me come back.”

“Flew in for lunch in my friend’s helicopter for lunch with my daughters. Beautiful pub inside and out, but we sat outside in a lovely shady table. Great menu with a wide and original variety of tempting dishes, I started with lobster Thermidor crumpet which was delicious with a very generous amount of lobster. Had chicken Kiev for main, which was also very tasty, although perhaps a bit lacking in oozing garlic butter. Service was perfect from the lovely Holly! Overall, a sublime pub to visit, whether by land or air.”
