Greasy butties, sandwiches, chips, burgers, pastries and confectionaries offer the ideal menu for a shack on the downs. Car park behind if you're coming just for the food too. Keith is lovely and easy to talk to, and regularly end up chatting to other customers as we patiently wait for scrumptious sandwiches. Can sometimes wait a little while for food during peak times but the quality, coupled with the price, makes it totally worth the wait. Will never stop coming”

The layout inside has a layout which allows for groups to have a catch-up around the larger tables and plenty of areas for couples to share intimate conversations. The garden offers a selection of seats and a child plays area which fits in perfectly and allows those restless little ones and area to play safely yet still within eyesight of their responsible adults The serve a great pint of Pride, I understand other drinks are available”

Honestly, it’s the best steak and fries I’ve had cooked perfectly every time and topped off with their signature green sauce, which I now buy to use at home!
