“Lovely pasta with tomatoe sauce. Very friendly Staff. Service was very good when it was very busy. Pasta arrived within 10 mins,and was very hot. Nice cold 7up free with nice clean glass. Spoke to Manager,and told him restaurant was run brilliant,and to keep up the good work 10/10. He was very happy,and offered me a free strawberry ice cream. Good karma is always rewarded.”

“We hosted our daughter’s 1st Birthday party in the Star’s private function room (a beautiful room). Elle did a fantastic job and ensured that the day ran smoothly! I had a lot of specific asks and requests and Elle did a great job in fulfilling them. Communication from booking to the event itself was great. On the day Elle pre-empted all our needs, the chef was great, food was lovely and the service from the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back for the next big celebration!”

The venue is lovely the food is fresh, succulent and mouth watering with their own twist in every dish (who knew pomegranate went so well with a breakfast). They are just so friendly and welcoming I would suggest walking in when you’re local.”

“We went to this restaurant last night and I can honestly say, we've tried a lot of restaurants in the area, royal kitchen, jalsha, oval brasserie, moghul.. but this was the nicest Indian food we've ever had. Great selection of poppadom chutneys, the best prawn puri starter we have ever had , main meal fantastic. Service absolutely brilliant. Will definitely make this out local from now on. “My Aunt gifted me a kangawrap when she learned that I was expecting, and given that she is a midwife I knew that it must be a good product. Now that baby is here I can confirm that it is a GREAT product! My baby girl is 5 weeks old and she adores her kangawrap, as do Mummy and Daddy. Thanks to the wrap, we were able to attend a wedding stress-free, the week before we were able to help with the preparations as it leaves your hands free all while allowing baby to feel supported and comforted, and on the day we were able to have a boogie on the dancefloor with baby ! It’s lightweight, easy to keep clean and is long enough that literally anybody can wear it and form their own special bond with baby. We live in France so are spreading the word about Kangawraps to everyone and anyone who will listen!”

“Both my children currently attend Sherwood Park Infants and Primary. My daughter has really come along here, the teachers are brilliant!! They really interact brilliantly with all children and bring out the best of your child. I was a tad concerned with my son starting, as he is delayed with his speech and Language but I have to say the school and especially the current nursery teacher have been amazing! She has put plans in place in the nursery to help all the children not just my son. He has really progressed and I couldn't thank the nursery teacher, other staff and the school enough! They have worked wonders with him. There is a constant support for my son and also myself. I am able to speak as often as I like about him to the nursery teacher, Senco teacher, Deputy and the Head Teacher. They were quick to put things in place for him and to address any concerns I had. The time and work they put in with my son and other children is amazing. The teachers, head and deputy help all children blossom and as many come from different backgrounds it gives all the children a wider and a good understanding of different cultures, religions and diversity which the school encourages and absolutely welcomes. I placed my children here because the school had a good reputation, both the previous and the current Head Teachers, the Deputy Head teachers and all the staff who work hard to do their best for the pupils. Sherwood park Primary School is an amazing, brilliant and excellent school and I can't recommend it enough. A few people I know have moved there children from schools to here because of how good it is. Thank you to you all that you do with our children.”

“I have nothing but good things to say about this school. Both of my children have done well here. My son started in year 7 with good but not brilliant results, he is now in the first year of sixth form having gained 9 GCSE's a-b grades and is on course for university. My daughter is doing exceptionally well in year 9, in all subjects. They're not perfectly behaved, they have fun in school and and are both very active - they like being at school, never want to take time off and have always achieved high percentage of attendance. They also make no bones in complaining if something isn't right - but hopefully do it in a constructive way. As parents we try to always show solidarity with the school in front of the children, but when we do complain, the school are generally receptive and sort things out. There are no doubt very badly behaved children within school and Cleeve is in my opinion used as the local dumping ground for troubled children, but the school has an holistic approach to learning, it cares about each and every child as a whole It has some fabulous teachers Mr K - an amazing math teacher and form tutor, Ms Morgan - has the finger on the pulse with every child, Mr Bone - brilliant, Mr Luck, Miss Goody, Ms Crozier and the fabulous Ms Stokes to name but a few....... My children have had brilliant opportunities with this school Duke of Edinburgh award, skiing trips, choir, drama,french trips, competing in the bexley athletics, University trips, engineering awards, sports leadership, mentoring to name but a few. The school has lovely grounds and makes a real effort to keep the school tidy and clean despite the efforts of some pupils who obviously don't know how to behave. I think its very sad, that children/parents feel the need to say such awful things about their school without balancing their comments with all the efforts that are made for the children who want to learn.”
