“A good selection of German Weißbier for a uk retailer. Bonus points from me for that and the fact that they stock Cuban cigars. Not an amazing selection as they don't stock anything bigger than 5.5" but they have my favourite brand, Punch, as well as Romeo y Julietta, Montecristo, and Bolivar.”

“Had a spontaneous lunch at Gaucho today with a friend and our server, Mathew, was absolutely fantastic. He’s easily one of the best waiters I’ve ever had — warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive. “What a lovely and amazing place. The dining rooms are as beautiful as the food. Its however more expensive than a Michelin starred restaurant. £394 for 4 of us. So control the drinking! Loved the litre of sicilian lemonade, reminded me of Glastonbury lemonade carts. My only little gripe, was it was winter, I had a long coat, and the host should have taken our coats as there is only a dirt floor and your coat tails trail in the dust. They eventually came to hang it up in their cloakroom”

“Enjoyed lunch today at the Watermans.The food was really excellent and the portions were very generous.The pub has recently been renovated and they have done a really great job on the decor and ambience. We came here under the First Table offer so the meal was excellent value.The staff were delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the gastro pub. “We went for the 3rd time for the lunch time serving. £80 per person but well worth every pound. The food was delicious, fresh and didn't disappoint. The waiters were polite. My only drawback is the manager. She's very abrupt as she gave a rude gesture when we declined wine and asked for bottle water. The way she speaks to customers and the waiters is impolite and unprofessional. She needs to retire as she's been there for too long or she needs to improve her customer facing skills as she would be the one reason why I wouldn't go back.”

“As a huge fan of Persian & Iranian cuisine, I have to say that this place is a solid 10. The garlic and sesame naan was fragrant and deliciously paired with the juicy koobideh kebab. The rice were fragrant and the flavours enhanced when we asked for some butter to go with them. Good indoor and outdoor seating. Attentive service. Fair pricing about £25pp”

The use of spices was incredible, if you order the potatoes (Aloo Tuk) you will spend the entire meal trying to figure out what they are seasoned with. Absolute magic. “Stopped in early on a Saturday night for dinner as I’ve passed this restaurant multiple times and finally made it in to dine. The menu is straightforward and the food is absolutely delicious- pasta cooked to perfection and all the flavors complimenting each other. I went for the carbonara, good flavor and generous bits of bacon, and had olives to start which were marinated very nicely in herbs. Absolute gem of a place, will definitely be back!”
