“As a new golfer, I first went to Richard for a club fitting. I was immediately impressed by the data analysis he presented to me after I tested a number of different brands and models of irons. This allowed us to make an informed decision when choosing the set to order. Once my set of irons arrived I initiated my first block of lessons at The Golf School. As anyone will know who plays golf, there are so many elements to a golf swing but the highly technical launch monitors, camera systems and teaching aids that Richard uses at his facility really help you to understand your swing and see the impact when you make changes. When things don’t go so well you can more easily identify which area you need to work on too. The indoor facilities allow you to continue with lessons and practice no matter what the weather, enabling further improvement throughout the winter season when you might otherwise have not been out as much as you would have liked. Richard is a great communicator and he ensures you have a clear understanding of his teaching. He is informative and friendly and delivers his lessons in a relaxed environment. I am incredibly pleased with the progress I have made since having lessons with Richard and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their game technically but also psychologically.”

“This is a fantastic rehabilitation centre! It has everything you need all under one roof for every part of your rehabilitation and onwards. It is fully accessible for all disabilities. I can't rate this place highly enough for everything they do. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and supportive. It has a WRVS cafe which is open until 2pm each day. Free Wifi Offer transport services for appointments. Which you do need to book in advance. This centre offers: Specialist Rehabilitation Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Prosthetists, Orthotists Postual Care Specialists and Counselling. Physiotherapy Gym, Wheelchair services, Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics & Orthotics - casting and fitting rooms for both children and adults, Rehabilitation Counselling. The Manchester Prosthetic User Association and Manchester Wheelchair User Group are based here to offer Peer to Peer support to the centre's users. It also has a great resource area with lots of information and event details from numerous charities - Wheel Power, Limbless Association, Limb Power, Blesma, Reach, MacMillan Cancer Support, ManFit, Age UK, LimbCare and many more. The Ability Matters Store is here too, which stocks disability aids and equipment. The lovely staff can help you find exactly what you need to make your daily routine easier. “Great club, great sensei's, friendly family atmosphere. Brilliant place to learn for adults and children alike. Sensei's Debbie & David are brilliant karateka and instructors. I'm always amazed at how much we cover in their classes without missing out on technical detail, it is always very high quality instruction. I have no idea how they manage it. “A fantastic dance school. My daughter has attended classes here for about 14 years! Started as a toddler in a pink frilly tutu! The dance teacher Lesley is lovely and patiently teaches all the children from toddlers to teens and runs adult classes for fitness as well. It’s very much a calm and no pressure environment. Affordable. There is the opportunity to achieve dance grades with certificates, medals and trophies. There is a dance show to take part in each year which again is fun with no pressure on the children and also costumes and tickets etc are much more affordable than other places. My daughter has loads of hobbies and interests but this is the longest lasting …. I think Lesley also provides her with a safe place to talk about her stressful life issues…..even more important in the teenage years! I’ve met lots of other lovely mums throughout the years too!”
