Stacey who did my hair was absolutely amazing she listened to what I wanted being done after I showed her a picture of my style and I was amazed and over the moon with it I finally found someone who did exactly what I asked for. “Staying one night in Manchester, and saw this Caribbean place, so had to give it a try, I got the rice and peas with goat curry, and a lamb patty. The food tasted so good! I got the normal portion which was just right, the mutton just fell apart it was so tender, I would highly recommend this place for your Caribbean fix. The music in the place has be wanting to move, the only downfall was that I had a long walk back to my hotel, but the food was worth the walk”

“Very nice little shop in Eccles selling lots of Bulgarian food- anything from dry foods and pulses, fresh diary and meat, frozen products, as well as cosmetics and over the counter medication. The prices are very reasonable and staff are very nice and helpful. It’s great to have a dedicated Bulgarian shop in Manchester, as most European shops that claim to sell Bulgarian products in fact have 1-3 products at best. It’s easy to get to the shop and there are places to park in the side roads.”

“Aldi Eccles is my local branch when I'm at work. Staff are friendly and the store is always clean. Please can I give a special mention to everyone working today 22.09.25. I lost a very special necklace that was given to me after my mum passed away in 2023. Panicking, as I do, I approached the gentleman on the self serve checkout about 11am and asked if it had been handed in. He reassured me in a calm manner that they may have it. Without giving me any details he enquired with someone in the office who asked me questions about my necklace to make sure it was mine. I was then reunited with my very special necklace. Not only did the team members deliver excellent customer service, they also managed to calm and reassure me. This is why Aldi is my go-to store. I cannot thank Eccles Aldi enough.”

“Got there at lunchtime and it was lovely and quiet. I went for the standard carvery and the other half had the chicken burger. The carvery was lovely and fresh with good sizes of meat. The chicken burger was good, apparently, but the coleslaw let it down. All in all a good quick stop off for a lunch that was hot and a good size. The cake slices were huge!”
