There's a lovely playground for children, picnic areas with barbecue facilities for families, and clean toilets that are free to use. Parking is reasonably priced—£1.50 for 2 hours and £2.50 for a longer stay. One of the highlights is the large lake with beautiful views, perfect for a relaxing walk or just enjoying nature. Highly recommended for a day out with family or friends”

“Fantastically friendly and knowledgeable staff, went in today for some new running trainers as mine were old and giving me issues, explained this to the gent who served me, and after assessing my feet and gait he was able to explain exactly what was causing my issues and offer me trainers that matched my needs. I feel very very chuffed with the service i received and the pricing matches that of many other retailers so well worth a visit! 11/10 would recommend!”

“We visited the shop today and were extremely happy with the service we received. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. We went in for football boots and the owner gave my children tennis balls for free and even played 'football' with my son. It started to rain lightly when we were leaving and they even offered to lend us an umbrella. We will definitely go back again.”

“Amazing! Nicola is a the exact person you want to see in a play centre/restaurant. Me and my children were welcomed from the front door (first time) and showed the play area, made conversation and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Nicola is clearly a child friendly lady (surprisingly not all play centre staff are!) she was happy, energetic, polite, funny and looked after everyone there even as it got busier. A massive relief to feel like this when you have a child who can be easily overstimulated and the reaction of new adults and environments can have a huge affect on behaviour. Tilly was so happy and couldn’t wait to get in and also spoke to Nicole as she clearly felt comfortable. Great play area for my 3 and 1 year old. After attending many play areas the staff make a huge different to wanting to return! Nicola told us about the sessions we will definitely be attending for SEN. Having had my older son at another local and reputable nursery and from talking to friends, I can honestly say it sits head and shoulders above the rest. Not only is the setting small and intimate, the staff are friendly to children and parents alike. My little boy had a special relationship with his key worker Ruby, who was always so bubbly and positive with him. Although he only attended two days a week would talk about her a lot and was always excited to go to nursery. The nursery keeps parents well informed of activities for the week ahead (always varied, creative and educational) and provide regular updates on your child’s progress. I highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking in the locality.”

“Can't fault it for what you pay. We paid £66 per double room and booked 2. My wife, children and I had an overnight stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff where lovely, restaurant area was really nice, building itself from the outside is nice. Yes some bits are maybe a bit dated but what are you expecting for £66 a room.”
