“Went in today on a walk in after I saw a Facebook post. I heard amazing things about this place but even they didn't do it justice. Jay gave me the freshest trim I've had in my life and was super friendly throughout. They are also advocated for men's mental health which I think is awesome. 10/10 will be going back!”

“We used Manchester Travels back in 2019 when we went hajj. The service provided by Hafiz Shahin, Kamal bhai and the team was exceptional, they made us feel very comfortable from start to finish. It was then that we promised, we will use Manchester Travels for our family umrah. They didn't disappoint again, as expected, guiding us all the way thorough. My kids felt so relaxed and at home. “I keep being asked how my visit was by Google but I've only ever known this as a pub. It looks fantastic inside. I drank in there from 1986 upto 1995. To turn this into what in guessing is a young child's pool must have been such a gamble but it seems to have been a very clever one. I wonder if such imagination will go into other pubs that close. But please not another takeaway.”

“Great place to learn to sail. Coarse was over 2days at the weekend and this one was run by Chris. He explained all that would be involved for us to do throughout the coarse. We spent half the time each day out on the water and the only issue was lack of wind but was still able to get practice in to pass the coarse. Very relaxed friendly place and the young volunteers who help us were very understanding of us being novices. Due to issues of lack of wind had been offered couple free sessions when we want to help us get more experience. Would recommend this outdoor centre to all wanting to learn to sail or do other water based activities.”

“Came here after a dog walk at teatime for some food with the dog. Had Thai food and it was absolutely lovely. Sat by the bar with the food as we had the dog and absolutely loved it. Good music in the background lovely atmosphere & Quality Thai authentic food and really nice friendly pub. Would 100% come back”

“Mark, Claire and the team are so very welcoming. Such a great bunch of people on both sides of the bar. The venue is cool and quirky. Interesting features such as the wagon wheel. Also loved looking at the art. There's live music, and sometimes food!! One of my favourite places to spend time in tameside!”

“Only Indian restaurant we dine at, Menu is very varied,my favourite is the Shathkora, a medium curry with Lime, food quality and portions are spot on, service with a friendly smile, everytime. Moving soon into the precinct, so more room as its only a small restaurant currently. Prices are good, and the cobra is just right.”

“Amazing! Nicola is a the exact person you want to see in a play centre/restaurant. Me and my children were welcomed from the front door (first time) and showed the play area, made conversation and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Nicola is clearly a child friendly lady (surprisingly not all play centre staff are!) she was happy, energetic, polite, funny and looked after everyone there even as it got busier. A massive relief to feel like this when you have a child who can be easily overstimulated and the reaction of new adults and environments can have a huge affect on behaviour. Tilly was so happy and couldn’t wait to get in and also spoke to Nicole as she clearly felt comfortable. Great play area for my 3 and 1 year old. After attending many play areas the staff make a huge different to wanting to return! Nicola told us about the sessions we will definitely be attending for SEN. “Made an order for delivery and realised I’d made a mistake. Called shakes and bakes 20 mins later thinking it’d be too late and they were happy to amend the order for me. Really lovely staff who work there, just genuine people. Desserts are always 10/10, sweet diner is our go to most weekends!!”

“I found The Play Co on instagram and was really impressed with their soft play creations on their account so booked them for my son & daughters christening and wow how amazing!! Freya & Carla we’re fantastic right from the beginning, working with our theme of Peter rabbit and even ordering bespoke stickers to fit with our theme. The soft play looked beautiful and the kids had an absolute ball playing on it and the ride ons. Would definitely book again without hesitation!”

“I am so happy that I found Forest Feet! My son started in September and has loved every moment being there. As a first time mum and the parent of a SEN child it was quite nerve wrecking to find a nursery that would suit my sons free spirited nature as well as give him everything he needed for his development. Nikita is such a kind hearted and loving individual who has a real passion for children to develop in an environment and ethos that promotes self-esteem, creativity, confidence and independence. She leads her team in this ethos and has some amazing staff in the nursery. Nikita has worked tirelessly to create and adapt to my sons needs which has been an immense support to not only him but myself also. The nursery compromises of an indoor space with a Montessori layout where children can learn and play independently. The outdoor area is wonderful with various activities for the children where they can freely explore and play within nature. If you are looking for somewhere that allows your child to grow holistically at their own pace with the loving support of great individuals then this is the place for you!”
