Adventure in Liverpool

“Booked a small date day with the Mrs for the Alice in wonderland escape room just the two of us. We booked early in the day and arrived and was welcomed in by Dayna who was fantastic throughout. The room its self was amazing and well designed. We hadn’t done an escape room for a long time so it was tricky to start off but when you get going everything ticks. We absolutely loved our host Dayna and how interactive she was through giving hints and tips, she even had a Cheshire cat character voice when giving hints which added to the room. Absolutely fantastic morning, great host, great room. Will definitely be booking more rooms in the future. Dayna is credit to the business and makes you want to rebook!”

“Had a great time in the competitive escape room, where your team races against another to get out. The rooms were nicely done and the challenges were tough to complete in 60 minutes. The host was also welcoming and enthusiastic.”

“What an experience! From start to finish I'm so impressed with the design and running of the 'Snatched' game they have at Contained. The host, Sean, did such a great job at preparing us (scaring us) from the start and the actual game had your heart pumping from start to finish. I would 100% recommend this to any escape room goer for something completely different and very very memorable.”

“Came here today for the inflatables with 8 13 year olds. They had a blast!!! Lots of fun and laughter. It wasn’t that clear what we had to do initially, told to wait in the cafe as the chaining room was full. Then when they went to change were sent out. No real direction until Chris came to our rescue. He’s the only one fully switched on and this made all the difference to our visit. Thank you Chris you were brilliant, very much appreciated.”

“8th birthday party. Superb venue. Kids had a ball. I initially didn't think the time slot was enough, but it was perfect. 1 hour of straight Nerf attack certainly tired them out, and the 45 minutes in the Dominoes room for the after part was brilliant! More than enough pizza to go round. (Including the adults). Can't recommend this venue enough. Staff were so helpful and on the ball. Well organised and exceptional value for money given you have the place to yourself whilst your event is on.”

“We really enjoyed this Beatles tour and I highly recommend it to everyone. The driver Arthur and guide Damion were great. Damion was an awesome performer and sang a few Beatles songs with his guitar along the way. The three stops were Strawberry fields, Mcartney's childhood house and Penny Lane. We stopped but didn't get off at Lennon's home. The tour price was very reasonable and they also allow you access to the jump on/off bus tour.”

“Visited on a Saturday lunchtime. Friendly service, Amy was super helpful with allergen info for my partner who has coeliac. Gluten free pizza was really tasty, we both had the Mexican flavour.”

“We are at the hotel next to this bar and we'd looked at coming in last night but went into the centre. We had dinner at Pho and didn't want to venture too far and thought we'd pop in and we're so pleased we did! Aaron took care of us all night, we had delicious cocktails and made us feel very special for our anniversary. The venue is fab with a great vibe, the team are very friendly and it's great value for money given the quality of the drinks being served. Shame we don't live here because we'd be regulars!”

“we recently when to Hays to discuss city breaks as we have never try one before,Tje help we got from Lyndsey was above and beyond so helpful very friendly and we had a good laugh too,she found holidays for us and didn't mind searching again and again when flights didn't suit us.We have found the staff at Hays Travel are very helpful and down too earth.”

“Great lake for kayaking and paddle boarding especially if you are a beginner or just looking for a chilled day. The toilets and changing facilities were clean. Parking right next to the lake makes it easy for access once ready to go. Will definitely be using this place more.”

“Very lively atmosphere with live music, good pint of Guinness it gets very busy at night be prepared to not be able to find a seat, also prices are high. But the party atmosphere makes up for it.”

“Popped in to use the public toilet. I noticed how well maintained and how clean the place was. The cakes looked amazing and the display of ice cream. The adventure playground looks fun. Great place to entertain the children. It gets very busy in the Spring / Summer months.”

“It’s a lovely adventure play park for kids of all ages Adults included. Various challenges and difficulty to challenge everyone. It really does channel the TV show into a family entertainment package.”

“Great little park for the kids and football pitch with smaller goals at either end. The large lake had plenty of fishermen around it, the is a lovely memorial site for the Hillsborough victims which kept immaculate. It's clean and quite busy, check cafe out, it's really good”

“We had such a great time at COSMO Liverpool! There are so many options to choose from — Asian dishes, Indian curries, sushi, pizza, roast meats, and loads of desserts. Honestly, everything I tasted was really good and full of flavour. What I also loved was the ambiance. The place feels modern, lively, and comfortable — perfect for going with friends or family. The staff were friendly esp. Kris and helpful too, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely worth visiting if you enjoy variety and want to try a bit of everything in one place!”

“Came as a bike group for brunch. Very happy because it has bike park space outside. Very spacious eating seats inside and outside. Comfy ambience and nice music on the background. Ordered veggie breakfast, which was wonderful with good portion. Price a bit high, but it's worth the lovely time being there. Friendly staffs and excellent services.”

“Jenny looked after our dog while we were away recently. Very reasonable rates & she is a real animal lover! Our dog seemed very happy and content when we returned, so much nicer than having to put her in kennels, which we didn't want to do, as she is a rescue dog, so we wanted her to be at ease in her own home. Jenny has a rescue dog herself, so is aware of how anxious they can get in certain situations and is very good at distracting & calming them. Would definitely recommend.”

“Olivia and Lauren are absolutely fantastic! Our dog Bobbie adores them and always gets so excited when they arrive. They’re both so kind, reliable, and clearly love what they do. They’ve been really accommodating with our schedule and always go the extra mile to make sure Bobbie is happy and well looked after. We’ve left Bobbie with them whilst we’ve been on holiday and it was the most relaxed we’ve ever felt leaving her. We couldn’t ask for better ♥️”
