“Great customer service as always. Shop has recently received an update on merchandising and feels more organised. Found everything I needed and picked up a motorcycle battery I had ordered on line.”

“Excellent service. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Currently on a holiday recommended by Amy. Cannot fault it. Thankyou”
“What an absolutely brilliant day I had on Woodland Classroom's Feast and Fire campfire/outdoor cooking skills course. It was a dizzying array of so many skills and techniques for taking the art of creating a feast out of the kitchen and into the outdoors. Our brains were fit to burst at the end with so much learning - but not quite as much as our stomachs from the most sumptuous food! Hot smoking mackerel and beef jerky, roasting a full joint of beef and vegetables in an earth oven, panasse skewered fish over the fire, cooking lentil dahl, caramel baked apples and stout and fruit bread (not in the same dish!) in dutch ovens, baking Welsh cakes in a reflector oven, pan frying fishcakes, fire baked homemade chappatis.....Just wow! Can't recommend this course, and our leader James, highly enough. Think I might be ready to eat again in a week!”
“Great place for the children to let off some steam.”
“Car park is at the top of the hill accessed from a narrow public road. Views from the park are magnificent. Areas below the top of the hill were very boggy and require wellington boots to access.”
“Lovely wander , we chose the river walk, which our new dog "molly" loved. Other walks take you into woodland.. Our walk started in the ample Carpark and was well sign posted.. Seating benches are plentiful, cut outs along the river bank are ideal for our young pup to get to the water for a splash about.. People swimming by the bottom bridge was a surprise, but also shows the water is clean.. Footpaths are well kept and clear, prams,, scooters, bikes, mobility scooter friendly. Areas off the footpaths have been left uncut on purpose to attract birds and wildlife.. By the main entrance is a cafe, picnic tables, gift shop, toilets and play area.. Parking is just £1 all day, if Carpark full, More parking is available on the entrance road.. Disabled parking is by the shop.. Dog walkers, joggers, ramblers and cyclists will enjoy it here. Plenty of room to roam and enjoy a day out.. Would come back to room more of the woodlands....”
“Brilliant play area, grandchildren will be taken there next week. Their Mummy loved it 27 years ago! Alyn Waters amazing as always. We are so very lucky in Wrexham having so many well cared for open spaces for all to enjoy.”
“I came here the other day and the food was amazing. I decided to come back with my friend. Both times the staff have been very welcoming. We had a great conversation with the chef today and he recommended some dishes to try next time.”
“Had a lovely carvery here recently. The owner was very welcoming and accommodated my partners request to change the TV channel when we were the first in the pub seating section. The food was really delicious, and the interior quaint and well kept. Out at the rear could do with a tidy up, but the weather has been pants recently, so don't let that put you off. We will definitely be back.”
“Highly recommend using Blue tree travel, the service and level of care was exceptional, I ended up with a much better holiday than I originally planned, Karen produced an itinerary full of sightseeing places with helpful hints and tips and the best places for food and drinks (and cocktails!) Definitely will use them again!”
“Just spent a great morning here. Lots to keep our grandson busy. Very clean, food great and staff friendly and helpful. We will certainly come back again”
“Friendly counter staff, did everything she could to accommodate me and the two kids. Clean, the food arrived quickly and was enjoyed by all. Excellent food prices but a bit more than I'd expect to pay on drink prices (£2.25 for a black coffee - but maybe that's an average price and I'm just cheap!) Many thanks to the staff for the great couple of hours.”
