“Nipped in for a meal being intrigued by the name of a pub as The White Lion with the picture of a zebra on the pub sign. The pub is under refurbishment. The service was perfect. We had 3 roasts and we were struggling to eat all of the food. One small criticism - the food was not hot enough. I made a special request about my drink and it was not a problem for the barman to accommodate it.”

“I visit Georgia’s frequently. The food is served to a high standard, it’s delivered quickly and the service is always amazing. “The most beautiful restaurant. Sat outside on a lovely sunny day. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I very rarely change where I eat an Italian as not many places do it perfectly but piccolo was recommended by the friend I visited with and it did not disappoint. Arancini was a delicious starter and I had the carbonara which was delicious. My friend had the lasagna which was very rich in flavour and delicious. Will definitely go again”

“Fancy place! Formal. Our first time here. Shoulda dressed better. LOL. Service and food superb! Very vegan savvy down to the fish oil and shrimp paste. Only sugar for tea, no sweeteners. But the veggie sampler and mains were positively delicious and the beautifully dressed staff so attentive. We drove past it once as it is attached to the pub and you can only really see it from one direction.”

“We normally go to the Miramar but its closed Monday so is New Lee Garden so we gave this one a go. Pleasantly surprised, good food and if you go to collect, you can see the chiefs making it i n front of you. Does say cash only on a little note but don't let that put you off they have a machine for cards/phone payment. Will be going back,fab Spring rolls(Chop suey rolls 2x).”

“We love it at The Hale Pizza Express. We come on a weekly basis knowing we will be warmly greeted by Massimo. The food is always perfect and tweaked to our liking. It’s a nice touch knowing our order and having personal conversation. Couldn’t recommend Massimo and his team of friendly waiters and top notch pizza chefs enough. 6 stars”
