“There are a limited number of parking places available very close to the restaurant on the main road and we were very lucky to get one just outside the fire station. We were welcomed very warmly and the waitress immediately offered to open the wine we had brought as you can bring your own wine with no corkage charge! We were also offered a jug of tap water which came with ice and lemon. For starters we had the Pasha baba Ghanouj, Chicken Bourak and Kibbeh Makli and all of them were excellent with the baba Ghanouj being one of the best we'd had - even better than in Istanbul. For mains I had the mixed kebab, which was one skewer of lamb cubes, one of chicken cubes and one of minced lamb. All of the meat was lovely and tender with a lovely hint of spice and I would say they were all cooked perfectly. The sauces accompanying them was also great. We also had some rice with vermicelli and a portion of tabouleh which was delicious. The service was very friendly and helpful and my only slight gripe was that the tables are rather close together and it would be rather difficult to have a cosy, intimate dinner here. However, the food was excellent and I love being able to take my own wine as I know it will be good and I wont be paying way over the odds for it. Pity its not nearer home!”
“Nice food, good portions and good price, but what is more special about this place is the staff. They were super friendly and helpful, always with a great attitude but letting you feel relaxed (I hope you guys feel genuinely happy to work there and your employer recognizes your effort!). Certainly I’ll pick this place for a next meal for the whole experience.”
“The food was hot, fresh service excellent even though there was a large party already sat down.We were in the extended area in the back.Lamb chops fab.Would recommend and will go back.”

“I remember walking past many times as they were fitting out the restaurant and I can’t believe it has taken me this long to visit. What a beautiful venue, really central within a short walk to lots of bars. The food is excellent with plenty to choose from. The staff are helpful and friendly and the drinks are great too. Plenty great options to choose from with amazing flavours and although only tapas the portions are generous. We struggled to finish all our food. A really lovely place to visit when in Manchester but make sure you book in advance as it does get rather busy.”
“Awesome place amongst all the disgusting fried chicken shops. Great food , shout out to the lovely young woman waitress she is a great asset. Use it or we are going to lose it. Amazing decour and gifts available too. Great value.”
“Was recommended this place by a work colleague and a group of 9 of us went. Parking can is available outside with plenty on side streets. Nice friendly vibes and smells emanating inside were delightful. We decided to book a room (can seat around 12 people I reckon and maybe more) and only negative criticism was that we did have to ask on several occasions for place to be cleaned up. This place can get busy. Complimentary soap was the perfect start and a nice touch. Ordered the lamb Zumbina and it was delightful. The meat was succulent and the flavours really lovely. The food arrived very quick and even partook in the chicken brost which I highly recommend. Only item I didn’t enjoy was the fasha and it’s a very distinguished taste. Not for me anyway. Card payments accepted and friendly service. Toilet (only 1) which has a bidet and was clean. Could do with another ideally and washroom facilities also available. A place I enjoyed visiting and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending and returning.”
“Supper Tasty halal food, we ordered mixed grilled platter for £25.50 which is very big size for the price and well enough for three people and taste is amazing good, and we also had houmous and a pizza and bubble tea and every thing was supper. The staff is very friendly and nice. Definitely recommend this place.”
“A great spot to dine with friends and family. The food was cooked with love and care and the environment was friendly and warm. Myself and my friends had a lamb wrap, chicken wings with chips, shakshouka, falafel, coffee and baklava and each bite was a treat for the tastebuds. After finishing our meal we just wanted to sit and enjoy each others company and we were welcomed to this, not being hurried out of the door and instead being invited to stay for as long as we liked. I will definitely be visiting Dina again.”
“Delicious food and very friendly employees!”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “A wonderful Afghan dining experience!” I recently visited Afghan Cuisine Restaurant and was truly impressed. The food was absolutely delicious — full of authentic flavours, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. My favourites were the [insert your favourite dishes, e.g., Kabuli Pulao, Mantu dumplings, or lamb kebabs], which tasted homemade and comforting. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The restaurant itself has a warm, inviting atmosphere — perfect for both family meals and special occasions. If you’re looking to enjoy authentic Afghan food in a friendly setting, I can’t recommend Afghan Cuisine Restaurant enough. I’ll definitely be coming back!”
“A solid option if you are looking for good food. Reasonably priced compared to some other restaurants. You get free lentil soup and tea which is great. Plus they have space for anyone who would want to pray ( just ask them if you don't see it ). I assume there is a family section on the first floor. One thing to keep in mind is that It's Kurdish cuisine so it's slightly different from Turkish or the other middle eastern food u get on curry mile. It definitely has less spices compared to South Asian food. The parking can be an issue as the area is usually busy with people. Defo worth a try”
“Great place for Persian food. Lovely flavours, nice big portions and good value for money. Place itself feels a bit outdated but not to much. The service was very good.”
“Very kind staff especially Matin, who was very accommodating and welcoming. The food was amazing, so fresh and so flavourful. I have recommended to all family and friends.”
“Lovely food and flavours, friendly staff”
“Great pizza and burger. Everything was good although the fries ordered were plain and instead what was delivered were the spicy kind. The cakes were also good. Deliveroo kept delaying the order (as usual!)”
“Amazing food and a relaxed atmosphere. Food is good quality and reasonably priced around £15-25 per person. The loona rice was my absolute favourite... highly recommend it. I have been with my family and then again with my friends for a chilled evening. The owner was lovely and attentive and ensured we were were well looked after. Great authentic lebanese restaurant.”
“I think it is the best mediterrenian restaurant in rushlome. It is a new restaurant with authentic nice syrian decore. Staff very friendly and delicious food. I tried the kofta plate which was amazing and big enough to be sqtisfied (~11£). Also i tried their open buffet on weekends morning which contains lots of nicely prepqred food (mankoush, fatte, fool, sa7lab..) dont miss the tamarind its also very delicious. If you are passing by rushlome, be sure not to miss it.”
“Best Iranian food served here. It's very calm to sit and dine here. The food quality and quantity they serve is beyond your expectations. You will be amazed the generous amount of food and different salads here. I was on my own and the food they served me was enough for two people and the price is very reasonable. Nice to enjoy with family. The service is excellent.”
“This place is a Shawarma and Falafel paradise! The food is incredibly tasty and authentic. A must-visit for Middle Eastern cuisine lovers.”
“Despite being really busy our sever took time to chat and recommend dishes. We had Tarragon Chicken and Lemon and chilli chicken with spicy rice. Dishes were full of flavour. We would eat there again.”

“The food at Al Shamiyat was delicious and extremely fresh. Mohammed helped me choose the dishes, and everything was perfect! The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I especially loved the fresh bread—it was soft, warm, and baked to perfection.”
