“Haven’t been here for a good few years. Used to go regularly but got bored of the flavours and prices went up. Went today as we were craving for authentic halal Chinese food. The food was amazing. From the squid to the prawn balls. The egg fried was nice. The best had to be the roast duck in black bean sauce. The flavours were deliges and the duck tasted good. The complimentary prawn crackers were a good touch. Will be definitely coming here again soon.”

“Really impressed with this place. The staff were genuinely hospitable and professional – made us feel welcome and served us with a smile throughout. The food was spot on. Starters were great, especially the lamb chops, but my personal favourites were the fish pakora and naga wings – packed with flavour. Curries were classic British Indian restaurant style, just how I like it when eating out. What really stood out for me was the calm, cosy vibe. Even though it was nearly a full house, it didn’t feel chaotic or noisy like some buffet places. Staff managed the floor well and created a relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back.”

“Went here before a gig, was a lovely meal! The place is tucked away from the main street, and thankfully takes walk ins, so we wandered in and got seated straight away. Service was quick and friendly, and the food! Great sharing plate for starters, and then both shared red/green curries for mains with sticky rice. Cannot fault any aspect of the experience.”

“I have been going here for a very longtime, chicken in black bean sauce, Vermachelli Singapore style, fillet steak Cantonese style, king prawn chow mein these are just a few dishes that I have always ordered. Cooking is a fine art I have never had a complaint about any food I have had from this takeaway, I have been to restaurants in Manchester China that have not been as good as this takeaway. The couple running this takeaway are very good people. Food always prepared perfectly, order on the phone always very polite and Pleasant. I will never go another Chinese takeaway why would I when this is to the highest standard.”

“Amazing food and brilliant service at Abacus in Middlebrook! The staff are welcoming, the atmosphere is lovely, and the dishes are full of flavour with generous portions. Highly recommend for a meal out with family or friends! OK pork chops is a must have!”

“Stopped in the Arndale Market for some lunch. We settled on a chicken gyros from Zorbas as it’s one of our favourite cuisines. The food was prepped in front of us, and was hot and fresh and delicious. The staff were really friendly too and we would recommend trying this option for lunch!”

“Great birthday experience for the mother in law and family. Superbly ran pizza express in a lovely location. Food was fast and delicious. We were served by Polly and others from the team. They really went out to make our experience an absolute pleasure. Normally a pizza fanatic I tried the lasagna today, absolutely delicious, hot fresh and tasty. Lovely personalised birthday dessert platter was a really nice local touch. 10 out of 10 well done, clearly a engaging and close knit team delivering excellence!”

“This place has certainly become my go-to option on Uber Eats. Always some decent promotions going on with some food items on half the price. I must say I am always impressed with the packaging and quantity of food. The containers are absolutely loaded up to the brim, and the food is delicious. There are lots of options to choose from from the menu. I love the concept of 3 different gravies on a portion of rice, with each bite having a different taste to it. I have ordered about 4 times already, and I am always craving for more. Their chapatis are bang on. Can't fault much about them, to be honest. If suggestions are asked for, then perhaps they need to improve on their delivery times. Can take up to 100 minutes on a Friday. Also, might also need to hold off on the extra layer of oil added on every portion . It makes the food slightly oily and less clean. Love from barkwell lane”

“Never ordered from here before but ordered my wife's usual pathia and onion Bajis. I had the Northern Indian Garlic chicken tikka. Firstly, the onion Bajis are to die for. The Garlic tikka was a great balance, of hot, sour, spice and sweet. Will order that again. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the Pathia and she really is particular. Quality, quantity, value and speed all 10/10.”

“Having used these frequently since they joined Just Eat, we used them for a family boxing day meal. Called ahead so as to be able to collect the meal, was just over £116.00. Nothing was forgotten, it was an excellent and easy transition. Got it home, everyone really liked it. Thank you guys.”

“The pizzas from here are fabulous, but the trick to getting these pizzas is to make an order when they are actually open! The opening times are so unreliable they will be open one day, but not another - going against the businesses advertised opening times! 10/08/2018 Anyway, I actually rate this as five stars as the opening times are now spot on!”
