“We spent the night here to explore Manchester City and Media City. What a delightful visit. The staff was very pleasant. Good breakfast. The room is cozy and pleasant. Fantastic waterfront close to a hotel, a shopping center, and a media center. You should pay for parking on arrival.”

“I am so glad this store opened in Media City. It was badly needed. I come in here nearly every day for groceries. I’m never disappointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially if I get stuck with the self service tills. There is a wide range of goods available, certainly enough to keep you going if you live in Media City. I would recommend getting the Co-Op App and becoming a member. It only costs £1 and you get lots of savings on your shopping. All you need to do is scan your bar code when you pay and you’ll see the savings. The store is situated near several apartment buildings and there is a car park and two hotels next to it. There are also many bars and restaurants nearby too so it’s a handy stop after an evening out. There are often price reductions in the evenings too if you’re looking for a bargain. “Stayed over in Manchester & found this little gem for breakfast/brunch. Ordered a large & small breakfast with tea & coffee included. Freshly cooked, although we were the only ones in, phone orders were coming in. Nice friendly lady cooking & serving. Worth a visit. Plenty of road side parking”

“Visited Grindhouse for a quick bite and a coffee to avoid the usual big chains that you can't move for falling over. Friendly staff and service. Had scrambled eggs on sour-dough and I have to say - eggs are easy to get completely wrong and I was very happy that these were completely right! The coffee was also very, very good. My better half had the French toast and reported that it was "very nice" (high praise!) and just the right amount not to make you feel like Jabba the Hutt.”

“Super workplace coffee shop in Exchange Quay. Easy to drop in for coffee with a group - never a long wait and very quick service. Great quality coffee, and 50p off when using a reusable coffee cup. Many other options such as alternative lattes and teas. Also new cakes & pastries available each week. Small seating space downstairs, or large benches and sofas for groups upstairs.”

“To me, it is one of the best branches of Nero’s in the country. All the baristas here are decent and make tasty coffee and also very friendly. The menu was taken on 13 Apr 2024. Quiet, nice and cozy ambience. There are also four or five tables outside at the front and a couple more tables at the back. There are a few pay-at-machine parking spaces just outside the cafe and also two or three (non-free) parking lots around. (Browncross Street Car park is an expensive place and you might want to use Si P Spaw Street Arches Car park which is much cheaper. However, it is not so obvious where the boundary lies between the two car parks so watch out for it as there seem to be many people who got fined for wrong parking there.)”
