“I love coming here for a breather by myself or with my little boy. He absolutely loves it, Lindsay is a gem and her food is delicious. The freshly made milkshakes go down a treat with my boy, the tea is spot on and the hot food is always tasty. There are lots of walks in the area so it's a great place to start or finish at.”

“Not sure where the people giving bad reviews were but this lovely place is a little hidden gem. Been several times and brought other family and friends. Lovely friendly staff, food is tasty and plentiful (and yes we have tried several different things from the menu). Super fast service and our drinks have always been served just before the food. Perfect :) The garden seating is really tranquil and relaxing. We recommend this to anyone, you won't be disappointed!”

“I had the pleasure of trying traditional Fredo espresso here, and it was incredible. Rich, strong, and perfectly brewed with — every sip felt authentic and comforting. The aroma alone was enough to wake me up, and the taste was smooth with just the right touch of bitterness. It’s the kind of coffee you want to take your time with and truly enjoy. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates quality and tradition in their coffee!”

“Had a lovely meal here last weekend I'm a fussy eater usually so this place was definitely out of my normality but I was on holiday so said let's give it a go, Had the garlic bread as a starter and went for the Margherita as a main, was pleasantly surprised by how delicious both were! “Had a impromptu lunch date at this cafe and it was wonderful! the atmosphere was relaxing and very welcoming. The staff are warm and helpful ,we had to a make dietary request and they accommodated it and it wasn't any bother. cafe is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, they have different types of chairs which was a life saver for my back! Absolutely loved the food , a little expensive I would say but definitely worth it , best BBQ chicken cheese toastie I've had and the salad that accompanied it was gorgeous. Just what was need on a hot day. I would definitely recommend this place !”

“We had a fantastic time at The Bake House! After finding out our originally planned venue for afternoon tea was closed we called the Bake House and they accommodated us at the last minute! We were too late to order afternoon tea but they did their best to give us the experience by plating up our sandwiches into a platter and putting our chosen cakes on a cake stand. Delicious baked good, teas coffees and scrumptious milkshakes for the kids. 100% recommend!”

Some of the Iceland Supermarket Products are excellent value for money, for example the Frozen Pizza, Hunter's Chicken including the Frozen Vegetables available like Garden Peas, Broccoli, Sweet Baby Carrots, Baby Spinach & Mixed Veg Packs. Also fine for Frozen Fish & Seafood & some Fish Meals. They sell a Decent size Bag of Frozen Seafood which contains Mussels, King Prawns & Squid Rings that is ideal for cooking Sicilian Seafood Linguine Pasta. Not too busy Midweek but it is Busy Friday, Saturday. So, some fine economical item choices for a Small Budget.”

“The cafe is brilliantly located right in the toddler play area at Stamford park. Having a cafe with a toilet is very convenient when I'm out and about with the kids. They have friendly staff, great coffee, lovely atmosphere & fabulous value.”

“Love this little Iceland store always seems to be well stocked. But if you're looking for a home delivery for the same day you really do need to get in before 1pm really because most lots get taken up or that's what I've seen to a found. The staff are always happy to help you even though they always seem busy filling the freezers with new stock. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.”

“So I was out shopping and popped into Iceland In Prestwich to get some food shopping, Store was spotlessly clean, Very well stacked shelves and freezers, Great selection of stock across each department, Polite and friendly staff, Competitive prices and grabbed myself some bargains. Free Parking nearby, Disabled bays, Ample parking.”

“First time today, the food was amazing!!! Loved the option for a two/three course meal at around £23. The Sunday roast was one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything was seasoned!! And tasted so good and the portion size was perfect. The cookie desert was so tasty! Again the flavours were amazing. Defo coming back again.”

“We spent the night here to explore Manchester City and Media City. What a delightful visit. The staff was very pleasant. Good breakfast. The room is cozy and pleasant. Fantastic waterfront close to a hotel, a shopping center, and a media center. You should pay for parking on arrival.”

“Made an order for delivery and realised I’d made a mistake. Called shakes and bakes 20 mins later thinking it’d be too late and they were happy to amend the order for me. Really lovely staff who work there, just genuine people. Desserts are always 10/10, sweet diner is our go to most weekends!!”

A special mention to Rob who went above and beyond for my family, making sure all the food and drinks were ok (I can confirm they were delicious). “Very friendly, clean rooms, good TV channel selection. Cooked breakfast was decent. Only slight thing was the lack of an exit to the car park from the other side of the hotel which meant going back via reception, but I'm really being picky there. Staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Would absolutely recommend if you need to be in the area.”

“Very nice place to go and buy groceries and meat here. Staff are helpful too only downside is parking not so good as can be hard to park here plus can get very crowded inside down the isle and meat area”

“I visited Subway recently and was served by Joe. Despite the store being clearly understaffed and a constant stream of Deliveroo orders coming in, Joe remained calm, patient, and professional throughout. It did take a bit longer than usual to get my order, but it was clear the delay wasn’t his fault – he was handling a lot on his own. Joe made sure to greet every customer politely, took time to get each order right, and didn’t let the pressure affect his service. I really appreciated his positive attitude and attention to detail, even in a hectic situation. If anything, Subway needs to make sure their staff aren’t left to manage such a high workload alone. Joe did a great job under the circumstances, and his customer service deserves recognition. I visited on the 29th June 2025 around 17:30.”
