“I can’t recommend this place enough! The customer service was absolutely outstanding and the food was excellent. I accidentally ordered two 12-inch pizzas instead of two 16-inch ones, and when I rang up to see if I could change it, the manager was incredibly kind and offered to give me two 16-inch pizzas free of charge. That level of generosity and customer care is rare these days, and it really made my experience memorable. The pizzas themselves were delicious – fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. A big thank you to the team for going above and beyond. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family”

“Staying at the attached Premier Inn with family during house renovations. Came for breakfast on reopening, after having watched them spend the weeks leading up to it doing maintenance and cleaning everything. Very clean and tidy inside. Breakfast was great. Good fry up and selection of fruits, cereals and yoghurts. Coffee good too. And the measure of any hotel breakfast, fantastic croissants which came hot from the oven! Joanne who served us was great,very friendly and attentive. Was lovely when serving my young children too. Thank you! Back tomorrow :)”

“My experience at benugo John Lewis was exceptional the service was great a team member kindly carries my tray over to me as they could see I was struggling made me feel extremely welcomed, I bought a mozzarella forcia it was extremely fresh and tasted delicious . The coffees were also very nice and the atmosphere was lovely would highly recommend for everyone!”

“I had such a lovely experience at Brezo Lounge! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, full of flavour, and with plenty of choice for everyone. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent throughout. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt well looked after without ever being intrusive. It’s the kind of place where you can relax and really enjoy your meal. “My son and I went in half 6 Saturday evening having just phoned ahead to check. Pub was bustling with a good atmosphere and the restaurant was filling up. Lovely friendly staff tended to us throughout the meal which was delicious! I had the chicken fillet, which had lovely crispy skin and the caramelised onion and potato gratin was fantastic and all held together with a great sauce. He had rump steak, medium rare, which was really nicely cooked. Desserts were equally good. I had sticky toffee pudding which was moist with lots of toffee sauce and a really generous helping of ice cream. He had the chocolate and salted caramel cake which was chocoholics heaven! Highly recommended.”

“I have not been to the March Hare in a while due to the last few visits being very disappointing . Todays vidit has definitely changed my opion. We were greeted by the assistant manager Gav, he was pleasant and accommodating. We had not booked but he managed to squeeze us in. The waitress Georgia was very pleasant and professional. The food was lovely and service was prompt. 2 empty plates. The refurbishment was in character and creates a family friendly atmosphere. The outdoor area has had a much needed upgrade and definitely a place I will visit on a sunny day. The toilet upgrade is definitely a vast improvement . Excellent selection of drinks including a vast variety of zero alcohol. I would highly recommend it .”

“What a lovely evening I have just had for my daughter’s 11th birthday family meal. I booked a table online and requested a table near the window which we got and then as a surprise at the end of the meal the chef brought out a cake and the staff sang happy birthday to my daughter which I wasn’t expecting. All the staff were superb. I’m afraid I didn’t catch their names but a blond lady and a tall lad with longer hair looked after us and a female chef. They all deserve massive praise. Constantly checking we were all ok and dealing with my sisters gluten free dietary requirements (she was impressed and happy that you kept everything separate and even more happy she got a carvery with gluten free Yorkshires and gravy!). The food was as expected- pub grub, great quantity and taste. We all left full of happiness and full bellies and that’s all we want from a family outing! So thankyou”

I had the chicken roast and it was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked, juicy chicken with crispy roast potatoes, fluffy Yorkshire pudding, and rich gravy that tied everything together beautifully. The portions were generous, the presentation spot on, and the flavours reminded me of a proper homemade Sunday dinner, only better! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It’s clear the team really take pride in what they do. If you’re looking for the perfect Sunday roast in the area, The Hesketh is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back next week !”

It has historical and cultural depths that the locals are barely conscious of and only the regulars get it. Once you get it you'll find it difficult to let go. When I enter the MOP it feels like I'm putting on an old, but well loved jacket, with its creases that fits just right. Comfortable.”

The sandwiches and cakes were excellent especially my favourite the Tiramasu . The restaurant was very clean and tastefully decorated . Will definitely return again .”
