“Amazing restaurant and would definitely go back again!! Quality of food was great, everything cooked to perfection and portion sizes were really good too. Service was really good, especially for a busy Saturday evening. Ambience was lovely, we sat in the glass roomed area, needed to put the heaters on but was warm enough. “I attended a 50th birthday in the Cuckoo space. Very intimate and well presented space. We caught the tram to Prestwich and it was only a five minute walk away. Recommended for low key parties”

“food - great and super tasteful and well cooked. we ordered some appetisers, the mixed grill and the mixed seafood grill/plate. it was realy good and we filled ourselves too much for dessert. that saffron rice was so good. service - good but can be sorta slow? the food came pretty quick and we didnt have to wait too long. drinks arrived after appetisers which was a little strange but oh wells. no complaints about the staff tho. atmosphere - really nice and pretty. they have a sort of balcony seating which is decorated beautifully. however there was a big group so the place was a little noisy but no fault of the restaurant. overall, really great place and food was amazing. will return again”

I would recommend everything especially the festive Dhal and rice/ sprout bhajis/ Padron pakora korma/ The world famous okra fries-superb!! Also the classic Burl Puri and the mung bean chatpata/ chole saag and vada pav are all stunning genuine delights. As a regular of bundobust in Manchester I cannot recommend them highly enough.”

“Working my way through the extensive and varied menu. Pizzeria Bella Italia never disappoints. Even if you can't eat pasta there is something for everyone. My favourite starter is their garlic mushrooms....omg so divine!!! Who'd of thought how delicious the humble mushroom can be when cooked the way Bella does. I can't fault the food, quality, staff, atmosphere and magic of this lovely restaurant in Bury. It is popular with all age groups and families as well as couples. I had mussels in garlic and white wine. The veg is al dente and beautiful. I always look forward to dining here as the food and staff make you feel at home and always welcoming.”

“We stumbled upon this charming Belgian-style bar while out for a few drinks in Altrincham with my wife—and what a fantastic find! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a traditional Belgian vibe that adds real character. The drinks were excellent, and although we didn’t try the food (we’d already eaten), it looked delicious and well-presented. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!”

“Couldn’t recommend the place enough; been meaning to visit since it opened but only just got round to it and I can’t wait to go back. Cycled over, so made use of the plentiful bike racks. Really loved the outdoor area, but sat inside and ordered coffees and breakfast. Service was friendly, coffee and food was all grand; especially the rhubarb and yoghurt granola bowl. Breakfast muffin was tasty too. Looks like a great place for food, events, drinks, etc. My kids had a nice time and I bet on sunny days that outdoor must be hammered. Will be back soon I hope”

“The food was beautiful! Really really good. We sat downstairs as there were lots of tables reserved (I'd recommend booking a table if you can) especially if you are visiting on a weekend. The food was really delicious. Dog friendly as well which is a bonus and we even got a sausage for our doggo! Highly recommend!!”

“The best pub we have been in for a long while. We received a really warm welcome. The landlord was extremely friendly, and a great laugh. “Amazing English atmosphere, and very lovely and hospital owners , they offered complimentary delicious sandwiches and shared the recipe, and free tasting of beverages after showing interest in the cider. They had a great rule of no phones or laptops which encourages real interactions. Definitely recommended :)”

“Strangely closed looking pub near the train station with a couple of ales on and some good crisps (Inc lancashire sauce!) The beer we had was top quality and this place is well worth a visit for the ales and plane spotting”
