“Was completely refurbishment during September 2023 and reopened with the usual excellent staff and excellent food (which is why I have left the following 5 star review unchanged). Unfortunately, the refurbishment means we will not be using the café as often as we have done in the past, because they no longer take cash. The counter has been replaced by order screens similar to the screens in MacDonalds and some M&S cafe's, and younger people will love them. Unfortunately, unlike the similar machines at MacDonalds and some M&S cafe's (which take cash as well as card) the new payment screens here only accept card payments. The café looks fine, and the food is as good as ever, but the payment system makes it feel very impersonal and there is less opportunity for banter with the friendly staff. Also, some of the older customers who usually pay by cash will now feel excluded. Personally, I prefer a choice, sometimes paying cash, sometimes by card. “Excellent customer service from the Bolton town centre team. Ordered via website, and noticed in my confirmation email that I had accidentally chosen the option for collection instead of delivery. Unable to collect as we are self isolating. Called the restaurant to cancel my order so I could re order correctly, and was told not to worry as they would deliver it for us instead. All food came shortly after, piping hot, with a very pleasant delivery driver who wore a mask. Food was all spot on. Was asked on a card that came with the delivery to provide feedback, from Moham, so here you go! Thanks, and keep up the good work!”

“Absolutely fantastic staff, great selection of ice creams, cakes and other deserts. The biggest pro is that it is open till late night. Decent pricing and what looked like good hygiene practice as well. I would definitely keep visiting atleast once a week.”

The service used to be really bad but they have changed the management and most of staff and they are exceptionally friendly now and the service is excellent too. Also they have live music every night however Siamak is much better than the other singer.”

“Nice cafe with usual Tesco menu. Food excellently cooked and presented, and even the beans were hot (which in my experience of most cafes is unusual). Cheerful and efficient staff and good atmosphere. What was really good was that you ordered at the counter rather at the impersonal machines which is becoming the norm (and is the reason we tend to avoid several other Tesco Cafes).”

“Went in on Wednesday with my mum and 8 montg old daugher and had the tea for 2. A lovely home made scone, pot of cream and jam and a big pot of tea... for 4.80! Bargin, and really nice! The service was lovely and friendly, perfect little spot for a catch up with friends. Will be going again for sure.”

“My experience at benugo John Lewis was exceptional the service was great a team member kindly carries my tray over to me as they could see I was struggling made me feel extremely welcomed, I bought a mozzarella forcia it was extremely fresh and tasted delicious . The coffees were also very nice and the atmosphere was lovely would highly recommend for everyone!”

Today I made a large order which was spot on & the beyond pizza was really good & I would highly recommend others to try them if you're vegetarian or just trying to reduce meat intake as they are really tasty. Delivery always quick & enjoy getting a free side with the hut reward points.”

“Been here a few times in the past month, coffee has been v good & hot (some cafes serve warm so top marks for fryers). Food has been really nice, tried the club sandwich & fish ciabatta both with chips & salad has been fresh each time. The cakes all look v nice, hv tried fruit scone & custart tart & would defo order again. Staff are pleasant & provided us with good service”
