“I’ll start my review by saying that I’ve eaten at all the so called ‘best Indian Restaurants’ locally and to be fair there are a few good ones but often victims of their own success. However, in my opinion, Spice Bistro is up there amongst the best and from the meals I’ve eaten, it is by far the best Indian Restaurant around the Tameside and Glossop area. The meat they serve is so very tender, full of flavour and simply melts in your mouth and this is complimented by the curry sauces which have so much flavour they make you drool. The portion sizes are exceptional because they are thick and not full of oil or watery sauce and if you order a takeaway the foil container is full to the top. I can’t compliment the quality of the food enough…….it is that good. As a side note, the staff are incredibly polite, helpful and chatty but most important they are humble and respectful and this creates a happy vibe around the restaurant. If you have not eaten here before, believe me it will become your no. 1 go to restaurant for a curry. The cost of a curry from here is similar to a kebab from a takeaway and my only regret is that I haven’t eaten from here more often. The restaurant is not the biggest in the world but that’s a bonus as it allows the staff to look after their customers and give them an enjoyable experience. I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough!”

The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. I’ve been here a couple of times before for MOTs, and they’ve always been accommodating and professional. What I really appreciate is how honest and transparent they are about prices and what work actually needs doing — no unnecessary add-ons, just straightforward advice. The waiting area is clean and comfortable, and the team clearly take pride in their work. Overall, a reliable and trustworthy garage that genuinely cares about its customers. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for quality service and peace of mind.”

I have my Makeup hair nails everything done here. To have it all in once place makes it so much easier. I’ve been to a few places for my makeup Jess is by far the best I feel amazing everytime i leave. There lash girl is also unbelievable. “Absolutely love Snobby Dogs and so does my doggy. We’ve been getting our dogs groomed here for years and they have always done a fantastic job. The accessories available are spot on too, my doggy loves her winter puffer jacket, so does anyone who sees her in it also! The fuss they make of my doggy whilst she is in their care has made her anxiousness disappear and she now strolls in and gets excited that she’s having a groom! The bows on the collar are a lovely little bonus and we have a great picture they took from last Christmas of her in a sleigh after her groom looking very pleased about her new ‘do!”

The place was packed and I mean packed yet service was fast friendly and spot on. The place has a very relaxed and warming vibe and will be heading back time after time.”

“Saturday 17th May 2025 This pub in Hyde necmxt to the train station is not just a historical gem with a proper Clientelle, and the person behind was polite and helpful Good banter was had in the fantastic pub it was good fun. There were 4 fantastic not big brewet ales on tonight with good rock background music next door to the Hyde central station This pub, when drinking real ales in Hyde, is an essential visit”

“Janet Dales is a family run beauty Salon. They're welcoming and become part of your family!! The girls are the best Cassie always tries to accommodate any appointment you ask for if she can. If you walk in off the street they do their best to squeeze you in. Janet has more certificates than I can Count meaning there's soooo many treatments to choose from. My entire family has been going here for years. Pedicures, Tanning, Massages, Facials, Waxing, Lashes, Laser etc. Etc. Hands down best beauty salon around”

“Only Indian restaurant we dine at, Menu is very varied,my favourite is the Shathkora, a medium curry with Lime, food quality and portions are spot on, service with a friendly smile, everytime. Moving soon into the precinct, so more room as its only a small restaurant currently. Prices are good, and the cobra is just right.”
