I turned up towards the end of their working day with a flat tyre, and when I explained i needed to get home, which was a couple of hours drive up the motorway, they stayed behind and put a new tyre on so I could get on the road. They were very friendly & polite, I was so grateful to them. Customer service at its very best! Thank you.”

Very interesting place for breakfast or lunch in Cheadle. This cafe is definitely a positive addition to the Cheadle community - making it feel more like some of the cafes in Didsbury. It is very clean and had a nice friendly atmosphere. The manegment adhere to the Jewish community, hence this cafe is closed on a Saturday. You will find lots of nice things on the menu and everything is well presented and clean as stated above. The reason I can't give this more than the 4 stars, is based on the disposable plates, knifes and forks and coffee / tea cups. I imagine on a good day this Cafe must go through a lot of disposable waste. Not sure if any of this is recyclable (but I have no proof) so effectively this cafe could contribute to world pollution (perhaps comments from management will put me right on this issue). It would be good to have notices saying the cutlery , crockery is all recyclable as this would get another star from me. And lastly but not leastly there is only one Vegan option on the menu. As we all know Veganism is on the rise and it is always good to have more Vegan options on the menu. On the other hand for the Jewish community it isn't an essential - but for the public it might be. In conclusion I would recommend this place as it gives a fresh look to the Cheadle community and it is clean. Worth a visit if you are in Cheadle.”

I don't want to go on about it but I don't know how to put it nice... 256 is great but u can not get in unless you are a student... I love that place and I have been in the place for the best part of my life but I'm not allowed to have a good time in there as I am not a student.. I think students are going to regret the loss of the intelligence offered by the local people who are connected to the area and have a good account of the situation we are all living in the UK... I miss mingling and we are just going out for a few beers and a good time down the local pub...
